Not very good , but all I could find for my razor!

Yes, these heads DO fit the Philips Norelco razor, and work but... They have several shortcomings that profoundly irritate me.First, they don't cut well. I can use these for my morning shave, and walk away with patches of whiskers that the heads just didn't cut. And this is despite running the heads over each square-centimeter of skin twice and in different directions. The genuine Norelco heads give a MUCH better shave.Second, the heads are significantly larger and thicker than the original heads, and although this is fine for whisker collection, it's awkward. The original heads are thinner and glide over the face much better.So if you're wondering, the price premium for the genuine Philips Norelco heads is justified. They work much better than these aftermarket ones and when you take into account the facts that this is something you use every day and that you keep these for long periods of time, the extra expense for the much-better original heads makes good sense.You spent a LOT of money for your razor - why handicap it with these heads? I wish I'd bought original replacements.

This shaving head has to be forced on to the main shaver unit. The shaver head cuts your face but not your whiskers. So If your into the cut up face with patchy beard look this is for you. Also don't let your kids get a hold of it!!! I went from using an 8+ year old Norelco shave head that was still smooth and cut my whiskers great (the instructions say to replace the head when the head replacement light come on). When I installed this replacement head my shaving time increased three fold and was a bad shave with road rash leaving much of the whisker in tacked. This shaving head will also cut your long head hairs and rap them up inside the shaving head. Do Not Buy.

I have two Norelco razors and each year I replace the shaving heads. In the past the heads have been the smaller type, but this time the heads had the original flip up heads for cleaning. While they look great the blades are horrible and do not cut low and clean. I have to go over and over my face to get any semblance of a close shave. At first I thought it was just one of the replacements, but unfortunately they are equally bad. I am to the point where putting my old shaving heads back on the razors seem to be my only option. Find another replacement because you will be disappointed by these cheap imitations.

Originially, I wrote a bad review. Than I discovered that if I used lubricating lotion Xtra Care, that I got a shave closer than using a blade.I bought this product because it was reasonable in price but it didn't work at all.I am playing with other lubricants but this one is sold on Amazon and so far it's the only one that give me a close shave. I am a blade man in the summer but use this shaver on the cold days. But since finding this trick, I am using this method more often. And with a few swipes, I find that I have a very close shave.
