Can it go through a place about 7mm width to catch an envelope?

The 4-finger claw may go through a place about 7 mm. However, the claw won't be able to extend in such a narrow space to grab the envelope. The diameter of the extended claw is 25 mm. Should you need more help, please reach out to us at wecare@nocry.com.

What is the diameter of the grapper..will it fit through sink?

Depends how big the apertures are in your sink! The metal sleeve at the end is 6.5mm diameter. The spiral bound flexible portion is 5mm diameter. But be aware that the retracted claws inside, when operated will flex out and increase the overall diameter, including the measurement of anything you grab with it.

Can this be used to retrieve something down the toilet?

The arms in the pick up tool are not that strong so may struggle with a heavy object. The extendable arms on magnet and light do not bend.
