not sure, but i have used these mice for years now, and they are very good.

No, this is a wired version so doesn't require any battery or software to operate just plug into any usb port and it will work .

Not sure about warranty, but don't buy it. I have used three so far, in all of them middle wheel stopped working after sometime. I bought only because of its ergonomic shape. That time there were no alternatives. Now you will get much cheaper ones if you search for ergonomic mouse.
