I looked at the more expensive double 1st bases and for practice purposes this was perfect and affordable! This is an accurate fast pitch league base that is used in competitive softball and even rec softball. The base is heavy and well stitched. I've used it for an entire season and no problems with wear and tear. I've read some reviews about the size and shake my head as no matter what age group you coach they should be using the standard size double 1st base as they need to learn so they are shocked later on. If you are wanting something like you see on professional fields this base is not for you.

Very strong material and lasts long time. I love playing with the bases. It worth it and and great for kids playing baseball/ softball outside in the backyard. I recommend this product.

Already ripped after two games without metal cleats in use. But, I don't know of another alternative that is better material and still uses tent stakes like these to the ground. The more durable bases have sturdier metal, hollow-cylindrical stakes but those are a pain to install so don't know of a better option than this one. :(

I have used this base in 2 partial games (11 innings) of men's modified fast pitch and the stitching between the two halves is already coming apart at one corner. I have had the base for approximately 4 weeks.

The price was the lowest I could find on this item, and it arrived pretty fast. I play softball every Saturday with a random assortment of folks from around my neighborhood, and this became the bag. Still going strong.

This double base is fine for older, bigger players, but it is too thick for the smaller kids. The description should have the dimensions for the length, width, and the height of the base to make a better decision on what age level it should be for.

These bags are very well made and should last a couple of seasons
