These have saved me more than once. I used them to repair a split section of 1/2 inch pex pipe with some braided tubing. They are great to use to change to threaded pipe from pex. Used one to cap a piece of pex.

If you have Qest lines, these will work! Tighten about a quarter turn past hand tight to prevent leaking. Tighten too much and you will have to start over! Great fix it!

I needed to redo the hot water bypass in my RV as the original valves were frozen. First I tried the typical RV valves and one leaked. Then I tried more expensive stainless steel ball valves and they ALL leaked. That was at low pressure, mind you. Then went with these and Flair-It 3-way valves. No leaks! Get the wrenches, as the make the process very easy. I will use these in the future.

Easy to install, if you know what you're doing.
