Emmet Desk Lamp

Yes I love this light. I have it in my office so I can quickly see what I have in file holders. I think the light is a little dim for intense reading but it works just right for my purposes and it is very attractive. I suppose you could buy a brighter bulb for it if you wanted to use it for a reading light or direct light on your desk where you read a lot. If you had a brighter bulb the metal hood probably would get hot but the hood on my light never gets hot, so my bulb they put in this light is dimmer. I like the soft ambient light it puts out and leave it on as a dim light in my office at night so it isn't a dark room to walk in. So remember if you get one with a dimmer bulb in it you can always order a brighter bulb for it.

Similar to the experience of some other reviewers, the product arrived with a few blemishes and very minor damage. However, all are very difficult to notice and the generous compliments it attracts more than make up for it. Very sharp-looking in person and you absolutely cannot beat the price for such a lamp!

This is reasonably nice lamp for your office desk. Probably doesn't fit a lot of home décor ideas, but nice enough to put on the desk in your office without spending a lot. You may want a somewhat matching floor lamp, depending on how big your office is.

Nice lamp. Base should have a little more weight ti it. You have to hold the base to adjust the adjustable top. Top is very thin aluminum. Feels almost plastic. But over all look is nice.

Are they cheaply made? Yes, have you looked at the price. Nice for my bedside tables, love the swing arm. Work well.

I really should send it back. It came bent and it looks like a crippled lamp. The lighting is good overall. It just was shipped poorly.

It is a nice looking lamp, but arrived with a broken switch. My husband is pretty handy so he just went ahead and fixed it instead of returning.

Came with a scratch. Not big enough to go through a return. Works great.
