well made and good value
Nice piece of kit, easy to install if you already have the spare tap hole blanking thing (a stainless steel sink that can be right or left hand fitted has a tap cutout front and back, and you blank off the unused one) I had to cut some of the wood carcass to allow access to the tap hole, and I had to do some electrical work because of my setup. But in principle very easy, think a simple extension lead, aside from the air button. Much cheaper than the big make model, and seems sturdy and works well. Very pleased so far

Works very well and is much cheaper than the official switch
This was very easy to instal and so far has worked perfectly. (Been installed about 8 months.). Pretty good kit.

Works well but is prone to water ingress into the switch which requires the air pipe to be drained.

Excellent switch to turn Insinkerator 46 into Air Switch model
This is the solution to turn Insinkerator 46 which is without Air Switch, into one that operates with Air Switch. Switch is of an excellent quality, stainless steel top, plastic core is strong and pipe is flexible and thick. Switch works without issues, socket is very well made and delivery was quick. Recommended

poorly made
In the summer of 2023, the air switch on my kitchen sink disposal stopped working. It was sort of old so I figured it was time for a replacement. Its a basic switch so I chose the least expensive one. It came and worked for about 11 months. Then i noticed smoke coming out from under the sink. You can see in the photos of what happened. I figured it was just a freak accident but when I got the replacement this morning, i tried to install it and realise that this one is just as poorly made. This one doesnt even work at all. Looking closer, I can see just how poor and dangerous the construction is. So i'm returning this one before it catches my house on fire.
