Why I chose Coolpad Note 3 from Amazon? It is a valid Question. Before My purchase, I wanted to buy a good quality 4G smartphone between Rs. 9000 to Rs. 12000. Therefore, My choice was limited to these 4 Smartphones at this price range: (1). Lee TV Le 1s. (2). Xiaomi Redmi Note 3. (3). Lenovo K4 Note. (4). Coolpad Note 3. But I have decided to buy India's cheapest Octa core Fingerprint Smartphone: 'Coolpad Note 3' after consideration of Specifications of among these Smartphones. I want to use dual sim Smartphone with additional microsd card slot. These four Smartphones have dual sim slot. But Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 and Lenovo K4 Note uses hybrid slots. Therefore we cannot able to use microsd card if we use two sim card at the same time. I do not like that concept because both are required for smooth operation of any mobile Smartphone. The main purpose of mobile Smartphone is communication. The benefit of dual sim card is if one network is not available may be other network is available. Another reason is we may able to use two sim card of different region to avoid roaming charges. But We have to open one sim card if we use microsd card on Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 and Lenovo K4 Note because it has hybrid slots. Truly it use a faulty technology that should be avoided. Lee TV Le 1s is better Smartphone as per CPU specification but It does not have have any micro sd card slot. It does not have even FM Radio also. Both are essential. Most of Smartphone of 16 GB Memory actually has a usable 10 GB Memory. There are more than 2 Millions of Androids Apps in Google Play Store and more than 95% apps are free but if there is a shortage of Microsd Card in Smartphone we will definitely face a problem of out of space. Moreover A good digital inbuilt camera of more than 12 Megapixel resolution and Full HD Movie 2K camera needs enough space. Therefore Microsd Card Slot should be preferable and we should prefer to buy any Smartphone with Microsd Card slot. Coolpad Note 3 is better in this regards because without any rooting of Smartphone any one can install free and paid apps in microsd card also and it has not any restriction like others. In this regards I want to say one things that Coolpad Note 3 supports 64 GB cards that have a format in FAT 32 only. But every 64 GB card which is available in market comes with exFAT format and this exFAT Format is not supported in Coolpad Note 3. But I have used Samsung Evo+ 64GB Class 10 microSDXC Card in Coolpad Note 3 after formatted it by FAT32 Format with free Windows apps "Guiformat.exe" from Ridgecrop Consultants Limited and it is running smoothly now without any issue. It is the only one solution because no one can format any microsd card more than 32 gb into FAT32 format by default windows format utility. It is also a strange fact that Lenovo K4 Note gives AntVR headset though it does not have any gyroscope as like as Lee TV Le 1s does not have any Gyroscope. Gyroscope is a must have utility for Virtual Reality Headset. Nowadays any good quality virtual reality google cardboard is available within affordable price from Rs. 500 to Rs. 1000 or any anyone can built it at home also after reading the instruction from google cardboard forum. By the use of Gyroscope with VR Headset any one can access 1. YouTube 3D 360 Video with 3D Stereoscopic Audio, 2. Photosphere, 3. VR Apps and Games and lot more. Coolpad Note 3 has a cool effects in this issue because it has most powerful six type of sensor. These are 1. Proximity, 2. Light, 3. Accelerometer, 4. Compass, 5. Gyroscope and 6. Superfast Accurate Fingerprint Scanner. Coolpad Note 3 has also 3 core GPU for better game performance. Coolpad Note 3 camera is also more balanced one with good colour reproduction, brightness and contrast in details at affordable prices. Viewing Angle of Coolpad Note 3 comes with 178 Degree with full lamination technology. It has a good battery backup also and it charges completed from 0% to 100% within 2 Hours without any Type-C port. It comes with Micro USB port with OTG (on the go) features. It is better than expected. Hi I bought this smartphone 15 days back and i am really satisfied. People who wish to buy i am hoping my review will be helpful as its an honest review. First of all i wish to let you know that coolpad is one of the biggest chinese smartphone makers back in china and they started way back in 1993. Now coming to the phone its got a decent build quality andvthe display is quite good yes its only hd but then full hd are battery drainers too. The display is bright and clear but not as vibrant as a full hd amoled screen. Honestly its diaplay should not be a deal breaker at all. The soeaker output is decent not extremely loud but decent. The front camera is good but back camera is just ok if you want to buy a phone since you are cam lover i would say avoid this. Nowvcoming to its killer feature that sets it apart from its competitors finger print scanner and trust me its great. Once you get used to fp scanner you cant live without it. The battery is good if not great should easily last you a day on moderate usage. The cool Ui is good to be honest either you will love it or hate it. Having said that again i would say that should not be a deal breaker as there are n number of launchers available on play store. I know many buyers would be a little confused having read both posituve and negative responses. I will clarify a few major concerns that have been raised. First of all does it heat and point blank the answer is yes it does heat but does it heat like a heater absolutely no. The thing is that recently there was an update and heating has surely subsided. I would not say that it heats so much that its unusable. To be honest my iphone heats too. The next concern is its screen and let me tell you that without a tempered glass or cover i have dropped it from four feet and trust me there was not even a scratch having said that i highly recommend a tempered glass and a flip cover. The next issue is camera honestly though i am not a cam expert i would say the back camera seems to have become quite decent since the new update and the front cam neways was good so the cameras quite decent. The next is many people say UI is buggy or it lags honestly speaking there was some issue when it was launched but through constant updates and bug fixes its quite good now. The last issue is service and yes there are service stations as they have partnered with HCL and if you do have software glitches they do have a good online forum. All and all the thing with chinese handsets is its a bit of hit and miss. The phone is really great all its feature work well and certain of its feature may put top end phones to shame but the question is how long they run. I have used it for 15 days only and so far performance is excellent but a phone shows its true color only after three months so lets see........

I have been using this fone for the last 07 months without issues. Writing a review right after purchasing the product like mobile fone without taking reasonable time lag to study the performance in the long run, does not convey the true picture. At the outset I would thank Amazon for their amazing packing and time taken to deliver the product. Good service. Now over to the product..., the cost of the product is 9000 (Rs.8999 to be preciise) without delivery charge. The device is supplied with charging cord which could provide interface for ur phone to get connected to ur PC to transfer data from one another. The headphone is really good with a clear stereo output. The speaker of the phone does not worth its salt if you choose to listen to music through speaker. The head phone would certainly serve the purpose. The remarkable aspect of the phone which itself appears to be unique for this fone that the battery backup. In fact I have chosen the fone after having read reviews which would present a mixed opinion about the fone. One of the reviews from Chennai in fact prompted to choose this fone without a second thought. When Chennai was besieged by flash flood due to incessant rain fall last year, all of you know very well that there was no power supply for more than three days and apparently the phone service was also hit.. The person who wrote the review could find his fone still alive even after three days without charging. I too have found out the truth that this fone takes comparatively little time for charging in full and drains slowly. This is not common in other android fones. Other technical aspects of the fone are relatively higher for you are paying only Rs.9000 while other fones like Lee and Lenova Note you have gotta pay 1k or 2 k more. Radiation level in terms of SAR of this fone is 0.249/0.425 which is far below the maximum radiation level prescribed by Federal Communication Commission (USA) ie. 1.6 watts per kg. Almost all android fones have heating issue. Compared to other fones this appears to be at minimum while using the fone for data or voice transfer. Camera is really good. Fotos in daylight are really looking wonderful but the indoor fotos may not be that much impressive but still you should remember this is not a professional camera therefore inappropriate to strike comparison with fotos taken using still cameras. Make comparison with other fones and it would still excel particularly the front camera. You can very well buy this camera if u are paying 9k or below this rate. It is worth its salt.

OK, so I bought this CoolPad Note 3 about three months back to replace the original Yu Yureka. The Note 3 is actually a pretty neat device for the price and is very responsive, given its 3MB RAM. It packs in a lot of punch with unique features like a Fingerprint Scanner to unlock the Phone (works at least 80% of the time on first touch) and a Decent set of Cameras (both front and back). However, its Microphone when on Skype or otherwise, is pretty poor for Speaker mode. Battery life though, is decent, lasting for the most part of a day, even though I am a heavy user of WiFI. The big drawback,that I found out about, only recently on a trip to US, is that, it DOESN"T support 3G for any of the Networks in the US (AT &T, Tmobile etc)....even though the bands listed on the phone's specs are supposed to be compatible with these carriers! Of course, I knew 4G wouldn't work in other countries because of the different bands, but I had assumed 3G would work, given the specs....NOT SO, its only a 2G phone! What's worse, the Tech Support, on CoolPad Note 3 Forums, don't really know anything and keep parroting that the phone should work on 3G with carriers that operate compatible bands. That is the primary reason why, I am giving this phone only 3 stars. If you plan to travel internationally, I would recommend one of the ASUS phones instead, like the Zenfone Max, which seems to be compatible with US networks on 3G (even HSPA+) and an top of it, has an OUTSTANDING Battery as well. For most domestic only users, CoolPad Note 3 works well enough, other than an occasional freeze when opening the browser.

I can't really express myself how much satisfied I am for 8,999 rupees. My bro have lenovo k3 note. My phone simply outsmarted in all criteria except speakers. I got a recent update, we can move apps to SD card now. I am a hardcore gamer and I risked this phone and the performance is simply outstanding. Regardless it's just a 9k phones put a great shame upon 20-30k phones with an outstanding perfomance. If you really wanna get a legitimate review, I'll say simply close your eyes and go for it! My Reviews bases on the following - OS - it's okay and looks very simple. If ya guys don't like it, download a launcher. Fingerprint sensor - guys, my friend challenged me with his iPhones 6s to find whose fingerprint is fast and guess what? My phone opened in a jiffy before his iPhone does. Next day he ordered the mobile for his mother. Look - satisfactory by back side and Exceptional and very premium from front side. Display - clear as a cristal but not full HD which bothered me a little but eventually I got used to it. Camera - was expecting this part to be bad but its really good. I would rate 75% out of 100% as many people said you'll get a good pic in outdoor but in indoor its just satisfactory. Performance - I downloaded several games like real racing 3, nova, NFS no limits, gangstar vegas , FIFA 16,etc.. Never seen a lag though it took some time to load some of those games. Performance is awesome overall but at this price ranger its very very exceptional. -Ram management - I use CM cleaner to make phone faster so I always have a minimum of 1.4 GB at least but in some cases I too get 2.25 GB free too. -Phone call / sim - Its reasonable, 4g is okay (12mbps) here in Chennai and call speaker sounds clear - Speaker : its reasonable , sounds clear as crystal. -Selfie: really good one for this budget -Battery : before discussing this I wanna say I live in Chennai and this phone saved my life being honest. Don't ya guys known Chennai was declared as a disaster zone a few days ago. With very mild usage (such as flashlight , missed calls, whatsapp and few browsings) which lasted me for 3 days with long standby mode which is awesome. Usually it last me 18 hours with excessive gaming. Generally it lasts more than a day for sure. Coolpads gets charged within 2 hours at maximum. I dropped this phone from 3-4 ft twice by mistake and nothing had happened to phone and I am surprised with its protective glass. So overall I rate this phone 94/100 %comparing with is competitive devices. Note : you can notice in my review itself that I sounds excited and cocky then realize how much this guy is satisfied. I got the device on 7 of Nov. and today is 7 of Dec. Im giving my review. First i would like to go with best points.. 1. I like the most is battery backup whicis very long lasting n im a heavy user. 2. I like the display size 5.5 inche is good for watching movie , the ppi of the display is 264 so dont expect like 1080p clearity full hd but for me its more than enough to watch movie and videos. 3. There are lots of features which i really liked it such as multi tasking facility u can open n able to use two apps at a time..like it helps me in editing coc base. U can also play two games or watch video in other window. There we also have Gesture control like double tap to wake, slide to change music or draw w to open watsapp etc. 4.The Best part is the finger print sensor which work very well and very handy simply just touch n open ur mobile with no time..the old days are gone i feel like that drawing pattern or inserting password its really boring thing to do. Lets get start with drawbacks.. 1. It says that camera is 13 MP and 5 MP but compare to other camera at this price range or above like moto g3 or asus zenfone camera it doesnt match with them. If u looking for camera phone dont go for it but its ok for me i can compromise if we see the price n functions. 2. Its having 3 GB Ram but i dont know why i have notice some lags while doing voice message in whatsapp last night..its a problem of virus or something i dont know? 3. So my screen is broken now i think its my fault i dropped it soo badly though it doesnt have Gorilla glass even gorilla glass also break..i saw myself in moto g2. So i dont know how the break resistance of the display is as it never fall slowly before i dropped it so badly. Though its working good n i have no problem with the touch responsiveness. But it is scratch resistance. 4. It also have heating problem as im staying in cold place so it doesnt go very high level i can manage it but when i use it wearing blanket or under it feels very hot so i have to come out but i dont know what will happen in the places like chennai ,delhi mumbai hot places... CONCLUSION I felt it is very budget oriented phone with lots of functions n facilities with few problems like camera n heating issue but even u can notice this much of heating issue with high ends phones like xiaomi mi4. I advise go for it if u want to use advance functions like fingerprint n multitasking which u will not get at this price but if u really looking for camera phone i really advice from the bottom of my heart dont go for it✌😃 👍👍👍

WORST PHONE EVER I have put 5 stars to gain all of your attention. I will tell you my story. Im posting this review from my friends account. READ IT IN FULL and see the starred part. """"This is my review of coolpad on 8th november which i posted in the critical section After the long wait i finally got my coolpad note 3 on 5th november. Straight out of the box, i turned on the phone and peeled off the screenguard which provided on the phone and checked the display. The diplay had 4 dead pixels and 5 hotpixels. I was very disappointed and i didnt even use the phone and asked for a replacement. After waiting another two days, the replacement arrived yesterday the 7th november. I couldnt return the first coolpad i got because of various reasons but i got there replacement coolpad. I knew the replacement will also have some issues and i wasnt wrong. I turned on the second coolpad and there i saw another hot pixel (stuck pixel in green) on top right corner near battery indication. Now i am really disappointed with the phones i got and i dont know what to do with them. ***********I contacted the amazon customer care, they said if i take a picture of both devices and send it to them, they will remove the product from their site*****************. Because, amazon have a policythat if a customer have recieved same defective product twice, they will remove it from ths website. Well that seems to be a nice policy but what will i do about the phone. I know if i return them i have to wait another 7 days for my refund to get initiated and i purchase this coolpad with great expectations. Everything is ruined now. Overall the phone is great and have great features, but the dead pixels on both devices i got? Its getting in to my nerves. So if anybody have purchased coolpad note 3, install an app called dead pixel finder from playstore and switch between different colors and inspect the screen thoughorouly in different angles. So i couldn't wait longer for the refund to arrive so i ordered another cool-pad on 10th November and it arrive today 12th November. And i say that this is the worst phone ever. The phone i got had several dead pixels plus hot pixels. I suggest everybody to do the procedure i have mentioned earlier. Every cool-pad they sell is defective and has dead pixels. So let me tell you the procedure of amazon. In the first flash sale they sell from their big stock. In the second flash sale they include the products which are defective and returned by the customers which are packed nice and clean. In the last and final flash sale they sell all the defective pieces again and the foolish customers accept the phones because they dont know about technical stuff. After the final flash sale they make it open sale, and now you can see that it is out of stock. So guys don't buy cool pad. And for the bought customers, restart your phone or take a black picture on display at fullscreen and put the screen in full brightness and inspect the screen in all angles. Below are the lists of Coolpad Note 3 Pros and Cons with some Advantages and Disadvantages. Reasons to Buy Coolpad Note 3 (Pros): 1. The first and primary Pros is the fingerprint sensor which you can’t get with any other brands this cheap. What’s more is that if you even pay twice the amount of this phone you still won’t get a fingerprint sensor. Now talking about the sensor quality, boy! its very very fast in recognizing your finger even if it wet, it only takes a fraction of a second to unlock the phone. 2. For multitasking it is loaded with not one, not two but 3 GB of RAM. With that much amount of RAM its hardly impossible to run out of primary memory for opening and operating multiple apps at least for more than a year until app developers increases the memory required to run their apps. 3. The quality of the 13 mega-pixel primary camera is not one of the best camera around but its above decent, I mean in natural day light condition the quality is great but under low lightning condition especially at night the flash does not help much in capturing good details. But still I can’t complain for the amount of dough we are paying for, its a good camera. 4. Its a Note, Right? So, the 5.5 inch IPS LCD display is large enough to make you feel that you are not holding a smartphone but a note, which is great for watching videos, playing games and browsing the Internet on it. 5. Another Coolpad Note 3 Pros is that it is a Dual SIM but what makes the device more special is that both the SIM card slots supports 4G LTE network which is great. Means now you will not need to switch the SIM cards for 4G networks. Reasons Not to Buy Coolpad Note 3 (Cons, Problems and Issues): 1. The first Coolpad disadvantage is the heating problem which heats exactly at the location of the chipset on the back right above the battery. But the heating issues is experienced only when high end games are played and also when you use the phone while charging. 2. Next Coolpad Note 3 Cons is the 5.5 inch display which is not a Full HD, I mean it is only a 720p HD with a very low pixel density of 267 ppi (pixels per inch) which is primarily because of the large screen. 3. No HDMI cable support for connecting it to your HD televisions. 4. No MHL TV-Out. 5. The phone is a bit bulky because of the 9.3 mm thickness and the large display size which sometimes it becomes a bit annoying when holding with one hand. Moreover it does not feel comfortable when you put it in you jeans. 6. Another Coolpad Note 3 problem is the absence of Infrared sensor which is otherwise very handy for wireless control as a remote of your TV, AC, DVD players etc. 7. Next Coolpad Note 3 disadvantage is the body material of the Coolpad Note 3 which feels very plasticity in the hand. 8. No Barometer. 9. No Temperature Sensor to keep track the phones temperature. 10. The Coolpad Note 3 SAR Value not specified. If you want to compromise the Cons just for a fingerprint sensor you should go with it, but in case if you don’t want to compromise I would like to recommend you a better alternative that removes the cons of Coolpad Note 3, I have provided the link below.
