A SOLID INVESTMENT - SO ENTIRELY WORTH IT
The media could not be loaded. What an amazing machine. If you’re trying to get into mixing dubstep and riddim, this is the weapon. I was using a laptop based controller before, but the standalone is the best way to fully immerse yourself in your sets and feel the music. It’s also ergonomic as you’re not looking at a laptop screen. The controls are so seamless and so easy to manipulate throughout the set and transitions can be done so smoothly. This is great for beginners and the professionals speak highly of it as well. I just love dropping doubles with this thing and learning how to chop! Effect application is also more seamless than laptop dependent models like the DDJFLX6. If you’re serious about learning how to DJ, hobbyist or pro, this is such a great investment. I would avoid wasting any money on other non-standalone DJ controllers and just go straight to this!Songs in Video:Pup by Ground ScoreB2BSong Request (Ray Volpe - LEAF Remix)

Frustrated and Let Down: My Experience with the Pioneer DJ XDJ-RR
I invested in the Pioneer DJ XDJ-RR digital DJ system with high expectations, but it quickly became a source of constant frustration. Despite its reputation, the interface feels clunky and unresponsive—often the touchscreen lags or fails to register commands at critical moments. I’ve experienced several software crashes during live sessions, and the connectivity with external devices has been inconsistent at best. Rather than enhancing my DJ experience, this system has disrupted my flow and left me questioning the value of the investment. It’s incredibly disappointing to see a product with such promising potential fall so short in performance and reliability.

It’s a fab mixer
Very simple to use. Seems a bit to much for a 2 channel mixer but the screen makes up for it. It has 4 buttons on it for effects and 8 channels open. It’s a good fit for those that are intermediate to advanced but it will work for beginners too.

Excellent
Excellent value for the money. Great sound quality, intuitive interface, great way to jump from a DJ controller to club gear.

This is all you need
I also own a XDJ-XZ and the XDJ-RR by comparison is a unit that is small enough that can be portable. In terms of functionality, it has everything that you would ever need for basic mixing and scratching. I like that the screen is very clear and the brightness is great. The jog wheels are very responsive and accurate. The pitch sliders are very accurate as well, but not as accurate as 100mm pitch faders. The unit does lack in some areas such as inputs, but I purchased this unit to use as stand alone and with Rekordbox. For the intended purpose, it does its job very well. It does not come with a booth out, but that's no problem. I use the second RCA master out as booth out. I really like this unit.Edit: After few weeks of ownership, I must say that I still like the unit, but I have a big complaint and that's the sound quality. It is not very good on a good PA system. I think that for its intended use in the bedroom, it is OK.
