Love this projector!!
So, I decided to get a projector this summer to add a little outdoor family fun during Covid. I received it from Amazon yesterday morning. Within about 15 minutes, we had it unpacked and streaming End Game (through Apple TV) on our living room wall. I just wanted to test it out before July 3rd when Hamilton is released on Disney. Can't have any hiccups for that!!:) The photo of End Game, on the right, was taken during bright daylight hours. As I don't have curtains in that room, I made do with a few thin blankets just for testing purposes. Light was still filtering through the curtains. The picture was still great quality imagery even in an unideal viewing environment. The other picture was taken at night. Great quality imagery/graphics. I'll add that the wall in my living room is 8' x 18'. I had to move the projector closer to fit the picture on my wall. So in these pics, the projector is about 16' away from the wall. However, the quality of the graphics were excellent at 18' . My wall just wasn't big enough to hold that size picture. I couldn't move it back any further to test a further projector placement. Our room isn't big enough. You will probably want to use at least one blue tooth speaker and place it by the picture on your wall/screen. The quality of the sound from the projector is fine for a living room, but the sound was coming from behind what we were viewing. It was totally fine but once we connected one simple little JBL speaker and set it up by the picture....a whole new experience. We might look into a stereo surround, but we really are totally satisfied with what a little JBL wireless was able to do. If you already have a wireless speaker, definitely hook that up first. It might be all you want. Also, there are plenty of options available in the menu to customize your own viewing preference, but I really enjoyed the already built in "dynamic" option for viewing just about everything we watched yesterday. My family really loves this new projector.

Great projector for the price!!!
First off; I’ve only used the projector once. I will update this review as time goes on and I use it more. -Background: This is my first projector so I did quite a bit of research trying to find something that worked for me. Once I started researching I ended up going down the rabbit hole so to speak. There’s so many things to keep in mind when buying one (lumens, bulb life, throwback distance, number of connection ports, connectivity to external speakers, whether or not the bulb is replaceable, etc. I learned all this while researching and reading other people’s reviews so take your time and do some reading too). I first bought an Epson projector because it’s a “brand” name. It was beautiful and easy to navigate. I didn’t even have to read the instructions BUT I returned it because it turned out to be a pain to try and attach external speakers to it. -What I was looking for: A simple projector to watch movies outdoors with the family (we have two nieces ages 6 and 4). I didn’t want something super expensive because I knew that we would only use it a few times a year, hence it made no sense to me to spend a ton of money on a projector AND external speakers. I just wanted something fun for the girls (let’s face it, what do kids know about great movie/sound quality?) We’re not picky people so I wasn’t looking for movie theater quality picture and sound. All I wanted was something fun to share with the family. -What I found: If you’re looking for movie theater quality picture and sound you’re going to HAVE to spend thousands of dollars on a projector and external speakers. If that’s not a problem for you, then go for it. If you’re just looking to have some fun with the family find something that won’t break the bank BUT remember that you get what pay for. So if you buy one of those $99 projectors, don’t expect greatness. -Pros: GREAT family projector. Picture is clear and crisp. Easy to navigate once you figure out how to do it ; ) Giant screen if you have the room to move your projector back so you get the screen size you want. We played an hour and forty movie for the girls and when it was over the projector was not hot. Not even warm to the touch. We did not notice the noise from the fan at all but keep in mind that we were outdoors and not sitting next to it. I did try it indoors first to figure out how to use it and even then I did not think the fan was very loud. -Cons: Despite what the product description says, the projector speakers ARE NOT LOUD. You are going to need external speakers. The instructions for the projector are written weird. It’s really hard to understand them but after playing around for a few minutes I had it down. It’s not rocket science so don’t let that deter you from getting this projector. BOTTOM LINE: So far I’m totally happy with this projector. I recommend it if like us, you’re looking to have fun with your family. Our first outdoor movie night went great. For sound I bought a 25ft long audio/video cable and connected that to the headphone jack of the projector and then I connected the other end to one of those Costco square portable black speakers and that worked for us. I also tried it with the computer speakers we have and that worked too (indoors, when I was trying to figure out what to use for sound). I already had a VGA cable to connect my iPad/iPhone to the projector via their included HDMI cable and stream Disney+ for the movie we saw. Again, I’m very happy with this purchase and I recommend it. I will update my review as we get more use out of it.

Great budget portable projector
This is a great and affordable mini projector. I chose this one for the autofocus and keystone correction features. It’s bright and has good picture. It works great. Very portable and setup is easy. Great bang for your buck if you want theater atmosphere in your home for around $100.

Good home theater projector
This projector suited my needs well. I bought this projector to set up a movie room in my basement. The sound that comes from the projector is more than sufficient to hear what is being played. I have had this projector for a while now and have no real issues. It is mounted on the ceiling so I had to flip the screen in the settings, adjust the tilt, and of course focus the lens for my set distance.

Great bang for your buck!
Really nice and compact projector. Super beginner friendly and has really good resolution. Love the auto focus and auto size adjusting features. Took about only 5 minutes to set up and our kids love it. Overall really great little projector for a very reasonable price.

Excellent!
I am incredibly pleased with this purchase. The ONLY thing I wish I could do is somehow make it brighter BUT - that was never a requirement and TBH I only bring it up bc this is absolutely perfect in every other way. It is incredibly clear every single detail was thought of carefully. It really is highly intelligent very easy to operate, quick to turn on. I can't think of a single thing it could "do" better at. It was smart enough to know I flipped it upside to hang from the ceiling

Good bang for the buck
I have mixed feelings about this projector. Having owned several different projectors from the low-end (like a GooDee $99 unit) all the way up to several name brand (Optoma) units, this feels like a pretty good trade-off between cost and quality. Pros: Unit has decent image quality with what seems to be true/native 720p resolution. It frustrates me immensely that Amazon allows sellers to advertise units as "1080p" when in fact they are just SD but have the ability to downscale an HD signal to run on their junky SD chips. I haven't gotten out the magnifying glass to count lines but it does look like this unit is projecting a real 720p signal. Surprisingly good sound for a projector. Not that you'd want to watch a movie and use the speaker as the primary source of audio, but you could if you had no other option. Cons: I am highly skeptical that this has a real LED lamp. It puts out a ton of heat, as much as my Optoma projectors with traditional lamps. I wonder if anyone has done a teardown of one of these to look because my money is that they are using a traditional lamp...and therefore are falsely claiming it to be LED. To be clear, I'd still buy the unit at this price point if it had a traditional lamp; I just get annoyed at false advertising. Software/menu is super basic. They are using the same menu structure as on their $99 units. There are very basic color controls as well as the ability to play movies from a memory card but the whole menu structure feels very...cheap. It would be nice if GooDee put some R&D into the software. Focus ring is very stiff; this is actually a good thing in my book as it means that once you set the focus it is very unlikely to drift. The down side is that the keystone correction ring is right next to the focus ring and feels very loose, likely to drift on its own. It's proven very difficult to get an image that is sharp at all four corners, even when projecting straight towards the wall (ie, not ceiling mounted). No zoom control. At all. The only way to adjust the image size to fit your screen is to physically move the PJ closer or farther away. Not very bright. I've seen multiple reviews claiming that this PJ can be used with the room lights on or when ambient daylight is present. This is simply not the case. This PJ simply isn't bright enough to compete with any other light in the room at all unless you are projecting onto a "real" projection screen, although my theory is that if you had the budget for a real screen you'd probably also buy a better projector. Overall I'd say I like this PJ, especially at the price point. For $200 I'd say you'll be pleased. Don't expect it to perform like a name brand unit (Optoma, BenQ, etc), but for $200 it performs surprisingly well and is a very definite step up from their $99 SD PJs. It's not likely to impress anyone looking to build a home theater, but is very capable for a "kids night" slumber party scenario, backyard movie night (assuming you can keep the ambient light to a minimum), dorm room, etc.

Très bon rapport qualité/prix
J'ai acheté ce projecteur pour faire un ciné parc maison. On ne le regrette vraiment pas. Belle qualité d'image et de son également.

As advertised
Everything we hoped it would be. Only wish I had considered getting a projector with wifi capability and zoom in and out capability.
