Received well packaged with no damage. All of Burl Ives great hits sung in a unique voice that you couldn't mistake. Album was as described by seller and the record tracks and plays beautiful. For all fans of Burl Ives, this one is a must for your collection. Highly recommended.....

Expectations mostly met - but where is "Wayfaring Stranger"? "One Hour Ahead Of The Posse" a truly killer cut.

Vintage Burl Ives. As a violinist I played many Nashville recording sessions, including several with Burl Ives. Four of our tracks were included on this CD. I had never heard them until I received the CD. (In sessions we rarely heard entire tracks.) After fifty years the impression I had of these tracks was sustained. I think it's some of the best work we did!

Always liked Burl Ives, good listening.

I am sure when Burl Recorded or sang any of his songs he did so with a smile on his face and in his heart and it came through in his music. Most of Burl's songs are gimicky and fun to listen or sing to.Lots of fun for me to listen and relisten to the songs.

My 19 year old grandson was singing a folk song, and so I thought he might like to hear a "real" folk singer, Burl Ives. So I sent him the Burl Ives CD.

You can't say anything wrong about realizing his singing

A few of his hits but not the best ones. Bought it for our grand daughter but had to get "Poor Wayfaring Stranger" CD for her which was much better

I like this cd very much but a couple of the tracks on it don't appeal to me so hence my rating
