I do not write reviews but shampoo and the scalp lotion has been the only thing that has gotten rid of these horrendous flakes! I have been suffering for the past 2-3 years with a flaking scalp issue and everything else just works for a few days which is nothing. I haven’t seen flakes or dryness in over a week. Do you know how disappointing it is to get braids or a style and have to wash your scalp by day 3??? No more suffering! The first wash day followed by the scalp lotion, my scalp was invigorating to say the least. Not going to lie, my scalp was on fire lol but i believe it was already inflamed from the dryness, itchiness, and having to vigorously scrub all the flakes. After that, it was great. I have normal wash days, no more inflammation. Well worth the money. I also threw in some As I Am As Am Dry and Itchy Scalp Care Oil Treatment with Salicylic Acid, Olive Oil, and Tea Tree Oil as a daily supplemental treatment and bought a water filter for my shower which i feel has been helpful but cannot do the job alone. The Mizani shampoo and lotion are golden. My scalp is healthy and can officially breathe!

Yes! Mizani kept the pyrithione zinc which is necessary to controlling dandruff and a clear scalp. I have natural /textured hair, so this works well and it my hair softer than most dandruff shampoos. Please don’t change the formula Mizani! I used to buy Design Essentials peppermint aloe and then Kera Care Dry & Itchy, but they both removed the pyrithione zinc. I guess theirs is for scent only, idk. Hopefully you’ll get their customers and won’t need to reformulate…

I love the feel and scent of this shampoo. When you first use it it’s kind of odd that the texture is creamy like lotion. I worried it might be oily or something, like conditioner but it cleans SO NICELY (I’m talking squeaky clean). Also, I’ve struggled with dandruff a long time and I’ve used head and shoulders for many years with virtually no results, I even tried selsun blue (which sucked worse) and this ACTUALLY WORKS. It feels like it’s really good to my hair (not drying/frying) and it’s also really nice to my scalp, as evident by my virtually nonexistent dandruff now. I highly recommend!!!

Shipped slow but I can’t complain. Love this stuff!
