These looked (and worked) great! Such an easy and cost effective way to decorate and make a party space feel festive. I bought three sets of two and used them as olympic flame columns. They worked great indoors, we used water in the bottom and they stood fine. They are very lightweight, if there’s even a slight breeze I’d suggest sand. They also came with a fair amount of extra circles to hold balloons. Very easy to put together, recommend ballon pump with your purchase.

I loved these balloon columns! They made my son's 3rd birthday party look amazing. Unfortunately, the bases were way too small to hold up the columns and the poles kept coming apart. With that being said, my party took place outdoors, I believe if it would have been an indoor party, the product would have been up to par. My solution for the base issue is that on top of each base, I added two weight plates in order to make the columns more sturdy. That was a lifesaver! For the issue with the poles coming apart, I taped them together so that they would stay in place and in order to keep them from flying away. Keeping in mind the two adjustments that were made to the product, I would say that these balloon columns are great for indoor or outdoor parties and I'd definitely buy them again as well as recommend them to a friend. ***The balloon arch was not included, I purchased that from another vendor here on Amazon.

I liked that the cost was decent for an online kit, and that it was easy to assemble and use. There are something's to keep in mind: 1) To make a full arch; you need to purchase TWO kits. 2) they make the poles thinner and slightly smaller than PVC pipe, so if you want to modify it, you can't just run to Home Depot or Lowe's. This makes you dependant on this company. 3) This will tip over pretty easily if used outdoors, so plan on using weighed objects on the bottom and/or tying the arch in place to secure in addition to using the plastic fillable base that is included with the kit. 4) Know that you can easily make your own arch for way cheaper. I ultimately ended up gifting this kit, and going to Home Depot to get my own PVC and connectors and built my own arch. Just cut the PVC using a PVC cutter into the size you want and sand down the ends a tad to thin out (makes it easier to insert/remove from connectors). I cut mine Into 2ft and 1 1/2 ft pieces (Just so I have more options). It was cheaper, and sturdier. Just find a base that works for you. I had two 5lb weights from a weight bench that we don't use and the PVC fits in it perfectly while keeping the arch secure.

So there was an issue with one base but I was contacted IMMEDIATELY about it and they addressed the problem promptly and now am currently waiting for new set to come and I’ll update and show pics all set up!! I’m dying to use this for my wedding so I’ll update ASAP! But super appreciative about the customer service and fulfilling my order 100%!!!!

I almost never write reviews but I was so impressed with what I got for the 20 dollars. Other reviews complained about these columns not being sturdy but you can fill the stand with sand and then fill the squares with water and the base is very sturdy. Make sure you do this part, otherwise I can see where it may not be as sturdy. I have them set up in a fitness studio with fans running and they stay in place. This kit also comes with 2 ballon tying finger pieces which were very helpful when tying all the balloons (use you tube to figure out how they work). It also comes with numerous balloon flower makers in addition to the columns. I watched a you tube video on how to make the balloon flowers and will use these pieces another time. You don’t need extra balloon holders (circle pieces where you attach four balloons on each level). There are plenty. I had 9 levels on each column using 12 inch balloons. So 36 balloons per column. There are elbow connectors in this kit but if you want to do a “u” shape you will probably need to get extra PVC from Lowe’s if you want it to be tall enough. I did two columns with the materials provided and it was perfect (see pictures)

I run a side business as a balloon artist so I need sturdy equipment. I have used lampstands in the past, but they eventually wore out. I ordered these because I liked the idea of lightweight stands for indoors. Assembly is easy. I added water to the bases easily. The issue is getting everything to stay together. It was very difficult to move the columns once they were put together because something was always popping out of place. Now, I did not use the rings that come with the product because I prefer wrapping the balloons around the pole. This added extra pressure on the joins and probably added to the issue. Just be aware that this issue may occur. I finally bought some white duct tape and added a little prayer. Overall, these would be good for casual use but probably not great for frequent heavy use.

I made these for my daughter's 1st birthday party today and everyone absolutely loved them! I love these stands, it came with the base weights and a second style weight which we ended up not needing this time but they will come in handy in the future. We used 12 inch balloons; 16 blue and 16 yellow per column (the one on the right actually has 18 of each because we didnt push the bottom of the pole in the base as far as the one on the left). We were able to get the duck to sit on the top by attaching a ribbon to it and a bolt to the other end and dropped it through the hole in the pole and tied the ribbon around the bottom of the pole.(no helium needed or used, just air). I definitely recommend these columns, we didnt even have to use all of the pieces that came in the kit this time but I'm sure we will use them eventually.

Nice one! I can make designs that look like shop made one. However I think the price should be little less.

Je dois les utiliser pour le baby shower prévu au mois de février prochain. Par contre, je les ai monté et je dois admettre que je suis bien contente du résultat. Je mesure 5 pieds 8 et si vous décidez d'assembler les deux colonnes également, colon m'a grandeur, elles me dépassent légèrement. Je suis contente de mon achat et j'ai hâte de les utiliser pleinement . 2019-02-17 Je les ai finalement utilisé. Magnifique. Vous pouvez choisir la hauteur desirez lors de l'assemblage. Je n'ai pas mis d'eau a la base parce que l'emplacement des décorations était dans un restaurant alors je voulais essayer voir si la colonne allait tenir sans eau. La colonne était bien droite et ferme. Mais plus la colonne est haute, plus est ris2ue de tomber si l'eau n'est pas rajoutée. C'est un bon investissement puisqu'elles sont réutilisables.
