Can this be used as a tofu press?

I've never used for tofu...but I'm you could if you felt inclined to....so yes!! Very well made product . Love it. It makes things so much easier.

Does this musubi maker have just the top open OR is it open on both the top and the bottom so the musubi can be pressed through the bottom?
