The socks arrived before the expected date. They are very well made. Hubby has worn the socks with boots and they do not ride down. Socks are comfortable and fit well. His boots are waterproof and his feet were not cold in the snow.Have washed one pair at 30 deg in the washing machine and they washed well.Highly recommended. Worth the money.

These socks are not expensive and consequently when I ordered them I had some doubts regarding their possible quality. In fact it is excellent. They stretch and therefore fit comfortably and they are thick enough to feel warm and comfortable without being bulky.I notice a previous reviewer complained that they shrank during washing. On a 30C wash no shrinkage occurs at all. In summary a very good product and excellent value

I have been after a pair of socks that allow me to comfortably wear my work boots for up to 12 hours a day and these do a cracking job. My feet are warm, my socks don't slip, my boots aren't full of sweat after a full day in them and they help the boots slip on and off very easily! For me they do fit for size I ordered. They were initially a tight fit around my ankles but after a few hours of wearing they loosened up nicely. I don't have any complaints at this stage but they have only been washed once.

This is the second box of these cushioned socks I have ordered for my Dad. The first were grey, and were so comfortable that I just ordered them in black too. My Dad said they are easy to get on, super comfy to walk in and that the material stays lovely and dry, even after many hours of walking.The socks are exactly as described and they arrive beautifully packaged in a lovely box - ideal for gifting - I would highly recommend these, they are worth every penny :)

These are the best everyday socks I have ever owned. Compared with the Smartwool socks I had been wearing, they seemed rather thin, but they are in fact the warmest, softest most comfortable everyday socks I could wish for. I have seen one review that complained about them shrinking in the wash - they don't, providing that, as with all clothing, you follow the washing guidelines. Mine have been worn & washed several times and are still as good as new. I wash them inside-out using a 'delicates' cycle at 30 deg C and a wool-friendly detergent. Yuedge are now my favourite socks - ever!
