I have used this product over/over. It is excellent, non oily nor leaves residues like others. Does what it advertises. If you have thin, fine, or flat hair - trust me - you will be as satisfied as I have been. It sometimes is not available, put it on your list so Amazon tells you when it’s back in stock.

I have been looking for a good volume lift spray for a long time now without finding one that would really work for me. That is until I tried this John Frieda Volume Lift Thickening Spray. Boy does this stuff really work!! I really don't like hair products that have such strong scents so right off the bat I was impressed that this product has a very light nice scent. But what's most important is that it really works. The top of my hair was always trying to go flat but after using this it keeps the volume all day and is my hair stays soft and not stiff at all. Love it and highly recommend.

This product is meant for fine hair. Mine is actually quite thick but it is very straight and tends to lie flat on my head. That's okay for young girls but I like some volume. This product works fairly well and I like that it is not heavy or sticky. It gives some lift but it doesn't provide much hold for a blow dry style. There used to be a John Frieda product called Root Awakening that worked much better but that was discontinued long ago. I still have some and was hoping to find a replacement for the time when I run out. This product did not make the grade so I'll keep looking.

I have thin, flat hair and decided to give this spray a try. It does provide some lift, but not as much as I was hoping for—it’s more of a subtle boost rather than a dramatic transformation. One major downside is that it makes my thin hair get oily very quickly. Instead of lasting volume, my roots felt weighed down after a short time, which was disappointing. If you’re looking for a light lift and don’t mind frequent washing, this might work for you, but it’s not the best choice if you’re aiming for long-lasting volume without buildup.

I've used this John Frieda Volume Lift Thickening Spray for 3 years now and it works! Even though I've experimented with other products since then at much higher cost I've always kept this on my shelf and came back to it. It gives just enough body and lift to my fine, thin hair. Nothing else has compared. Just spray on towel dried hair and blow dry. Doesn't make your hair feel gummy or dirty.

this stuff is wonderful. let me start by saying I have the flattest hair ever and this did the trick I'm guessing as good as or better than anything professional I've tried for volume. let me tell you a little more: -it can seem kind of crispy when you're drying your hair at first. it will not make it greasy or oily, but it kind of feels like there's hairspray in your roots or something a little crunchy. it also made my hair a little more coarse at the front where I applied more. -this is a good thing!! the hair needs to have a more coarse texture to have more volume, as soft silky hair is generally not as volumous. -once you style (I used heat for curls/waves) the coarse or crispy-ness will not be visible or look strange. -you kind of have to do some fluffing/tousling to get the volume to what you like. it helped me to blow dry completely upside down and I got the look I really wanted which is more volume at the roots -use liberally!! it may feel weird but use more rather than less!! good luck ladies and hope it works for you!

My hair has been getting thinner as I age, and I’ve used this product for about a year. I have purchased another bottle and will keep using it, as it works great!! It is like a leave-in conditioner, but with no mess. It has a spray feature (that took me a bit to figure out) that is nice and it makes my hair smooth and also thicker.

I have never been disappointed in John Freida products. This spray really helps my hair look shiny, full, and healthy. I have very fine and extremely straight hair that I highlight every 8 weeks. It was breaking. I had trouble with tangles. It was either really limp or very frizzy. I try to wait to my hair is damp to use a hair dryer. I use a heat protecting styling spray to curl my hair. I roll it on mesh rollers(not Velcro) while my hair cools to set the curl. Round brushes are to harsh for me to use. This spray adds volume and shine. I can go two days without shampooing. My style holds with the help of a good hairspray. I live in middle Georgia where the humidity is high and it rains 30 minutes almost every afternoon. Finding good products is extremely challenging. I will buy this again. I am going to buy this for my mother too.

Tenho 72 anos, meu cabelo além de fino vem rareando bastante. Já usei muitos produtos para dar volume e suspender a raiz, inclusive produtos importados, nenhum funcionou tão bem quanto esse. Ele deixa os cabelos mais volumosos sem endurecer os fios. Costumo passar com os cabelos ainda molhados, espalho bem com as pontas dos dedos, deixo secar naturalmente um pouco antes de usar secador. Depois do secador, basta escovar com uma boa escova e pentear. Super recomendo!
