I love with the new upgrade! These ring lights now come with an ultra slim ring light head that's under an inch thick. The soft light settings and hot shoe mount are now built into the ring light!This really makes adjusting how I set up my lighting almost effortless. The stand included with the kit is very well made and really sturdy. It holds is strong enough to use indoors or out doors without having to worry about keeping it weighted down so it doesn't fall over. In my opinion these ring lights give you the cleanest light you can have for portrait style shots. These lights are really a game changer.

The upgraded version takes an already great product and makes it even more amazing. I still get the large 18 inch ring light but now it's even slimmer with a 0.7 inch thickness! Foldable locking legs that make for easy assembly, compact for storage, and compact for travel. They moved the dimmer to the inside of the light with the bracket insert which is great because I can adjust the lighting and be able to see my phone screen at the same time so I know what it looks like without having to get up. Comes with a newer version of the phone holder too, now it fits the newer generations like X & 8+, my X fits just fine. If you're looking for a complete lighting kit for shooting and streaming off your phone, I highly recommend this fresh ring light.

The ultra slim ring light is as sleek as it is versatile. One thing I really appreciate is that the dimmer is not the on/off switch. There are separate settings for the white and yellow led bulbs and on/off flip switch. This means I can reach a better and lower ranged dimness. The stand it comes with holds it all together, it's really sturdy and stands still through height and angle adjustments.

Clear brightness. Even layout wherever it casts. Individual dials for dimming the white and yellow led bulbs, can be used seperately or mixed together which I really like. The lighting is really lovely and unique. Good for taking pictures of nails since I can mount the ring down and still shoot on it without my phone falling out. Stays sturdy on the stand, this light has been really good for business!

The light is great but the on and off button broked a week after I purchase the attachments light to the body broke very disappointed and then it broke completely I can’t turn on the light or off

I am absolutely in love with the new upgrade! This version now has an ultra slim ring light head that's less than an inch thick. The white/yellow light settings and hot shoe mount are now built into the ring light which makes access to temperature control and positioning so fast and easy. The stand is pretty hefty and holds all of it up while staying steady and balanced. Professional, powerful lighting perfect for portrait photography.

I'm giving this 4-stars even though I'm struggling with using it but I believe that is my issue and not the product. I'm used to 640WS strobes and this or probably many cheaper LED lights don't come close to that output. The operation and weight of the ring light are great. I just need to figure out how to optimize working with such a lower light source.I like its operation and for many aspects, such as video blogging or applying makeup it is clearly ideal. For portraits under low ISO, not so sure yet.

I waited quite a while to buy a ring light bc I'm an hobby photographer who works mainly on self portraits and lighting just felt....expensive. Too expensive for what I was doing anyway. But after 2 years, I decided to go for it. I WAS going to by the diva ring light but went for this option bc of the price. It's beautiful, the quality is nice and I love the adjustments that you can make. The light itself is AWESOME. Chasing sunlight gets tiring and I just wanted to be able to stage photos at night as well. This is the perfect solution. So happy I bought my light 2
