When would you use the pz-59 instead of the pz-58 and vice-versa?

just depends on the size of what you want to grip.

are these better than vampliers or just about the same? will I be compromising on toughness and quality if I go with these instead of vampliers? thnx

They are the exact same, the only compromise will be waiting longer for these to arrive. I ordered a pair of these and the vampliers on the same day, these took about 2 weeks longer to arrive, but also cost $15 less.

What is the warranty on these?

I can't give you the warrantee info. I do know however know that I use these professionally in aerospace and they take quite a beating. They have an excellent bite on the head of a faster that may be rounded off. Most assuredly good quality. Have had them for nearly one year with regular use.

RX PZ-59 I am not sure, but I have two sizes, the PZ-59 and the smaller PZ-58. The smaller pair has made in Japan on it, but the larger pair does not. They look exactly the same except for size and they work great. I have not used them a lot, but when I have used them they performed very well.
