ADS Anti-Allergen Dust Spray 128 oz.

Heat, humidity, bugs, and lots of wet and dry grass from mowing the lawn weekly. I'm very allergic to grass, the one thing my yard has plenty of. This product has helped. I have two large indoor dogs who like to go in and out all day long. The ground is wet in the am so, they bring grass and dirt into the house. Vacuuming alone does not help, I still feel the effects. Since I started using this product and I dust, vacuum, and treat my home, I have reduced the need for prescription allergy medication. I even shampoo my carpet with it once a month. If you can afford it, I would recommend it.

OMG we bought a new home. The prior owners had a cat that never left the master bedroom. When we moved in we had everything cleaned. After setting up our master bedroom, my husband vacuumed. THAT must have lufted the dander, I almost died. Couldnt breathe .. allergic to cats and I dont think this one lwft this room in 10+ years. I ordered this product along with a HEPA vacuum. After 1 treatment there was CLEARLY a HUGE difference. We gave it 2 more to be sure. The room hasnt bothered me since. I was so afraid we'd have to keep the master as the spare bedroom, OR replace the flooring throughout. This product saved us!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! FOLLOW DIRECTIONS!! IT WORKS!!

We use this spray in our home because our daughter is allergic to our canine family members. Please note that the instructions clearly state what fabrics you should not use this on. There is another product by the same company that is designed to use on white fabrics. ALSO, we have NEVER EVER experienced any of the bleach smells other reviewers mention. The precautions stated on the bottle (copied below) make note to test in a small area before applying the product, emphasizing that it is important when prior cleaners or deodorizers have been applied. It seems obvious the strong smell experienced by some was probably a chemical reaction with other chemical residue (especially with carpet). It surprises me that the people that will take the time to give detailed negative reviews don't take the time to read the precautions and instructions PRIOR to using the product. Precautions from the container listed below. I would have like to have seen them prior to purchasing. PRECAUTIONS: Before application of this product, test in a small hidden area for each item to be treated and allow it to dry thoroughly. This is also important when prior cleaners and deodorizers have been applied. They may have left a chemical residue that will cause discoloration or staining. If staining occurs do not use. Do not spray on white or off-white colored carpets or fabrics. Do not spray on fabrics sensitive to water such as silk, Haitian cottons, and certain wools, including some oriental rugs. Do not spray on woodwork or walls. Do not spray on surfaces that are moist or damp. Do not add product to laundry. Store in a cool, dry place. Do not spray directly on animals or pets. As with all chemicals, keep out of reach of children. Surfaces treated with Allersearch ADS should not be wet cleaned or steam cleaned afterwards. We recommend vacuuming or other dry cleaning methods.

I had my doubts but it worked great! We just realized my niece is allergic to cats. My older cat barely moved so she didn't have as much of a reaction but after she passed, I adopted two kitties/younger cats and they are bundles of energy. They run everywhere all over the house and she starts coughing the minute she steps foot in the house and all night when they stay at my house. I followed the instruction - and sprayed the carpet down, left it for 3 hours and then came back and vacuumed the day before they came. AND She didn't cough when she came through the door! And barely at night. They were here for 4 days. It did start to wear off after 2 days but then again I have active cats. (They're 10 months). So i re-sprayed and vacuumed after the 2nd night. Just happy I found something that allows her lungs to work here.

This spray works on Cat dander for about 2 weeks. I have two cats who shed regularly so I had to spray this continuously.

Worked well - but I not finished testing with my allergies, so far it's looking good!

Surprise! Our kid has a cat dander sensitivity! We didn't know until we brought little Fluffy home and of course our kid had fallen completely in love. Rehoming the furball was the last resort so we were eager to try this stuff. This works as advertised, but we use it about once a week rather than the suggested 90 days. We can really tell when soft surfaces have been sprayed - our 6 year-old doesn't sniffle, sneeze or need antihistamines when we use this weekly. When we skip a weekly spraying, we have a sniffly kid. We also bathe the cat biweekly in the pet shampoo by the same company, so the combination of bathing and spraying soft surfaces is likely keeping our cat enzyme issues in control. We're told our son doesn't have a full blown allergy, just a "sensitivity." I'm no physician but sneezing and runny noses sure seem like allergy symptoms to me, but we're just managing a sensitivity, so this may not be the answer for folks with more serious pet dander issues or asthma. There are other brands with and without tannic acid so try them out until you find something that works for you.

I've been buying this stuff for a couple of years now to spray floors and fabrics with, and realized I've never actually left a good review. It works on carpets and you can even water it down to spray things like bed covers and coats. It does have tannic acid in it so using it on light colored fabrics and carpets will turn them yellow over time. FYI if you are allergic to dust mites, the only ingredients shown to actually get rid of dust mites are tannic acid, and benzyl benzoate, so if you are buying a dust mite product without those ingredients it is a waste of your money. This product contains tannic acid, which is why it works and is worth the money.

Not suited to my floor which is bamboo and wet mopped weekly. So the can is unopened and no use to me.

I've been using this for a month and it has definitely reduced dust/dander related allergic reactions.
