The Magnesium My Body Apparently Needed More Than Sleep and Good Decisions
Let me start by saying: I take magnesium now because I’m at that stage of life where my body files complaints like an overworked HR department. And honestly? This Nature Made Magnesium has been the closest thing to a peace treaty we’ve achieved in years. Quality You Can Count On (Because… Nature Made) Nature Made is one of those brands that just quietly does its job without drama—like the opposite of my kids at bedtime. The quality here is solid, consistent, and exactly what I expect from a company that’s been around forever and still hasn’t let our family down. No weird smells. No chalky residue. No “why does this look like it was made in someone’s garage?” Effects: Subtle but Real I didn’t suddenly ascend into a higher plane of existence, but I did notice: - Less muscle tightness - Fewer nighttime leg shenanigans - A general sense that my body wasn’t trying to sabotage me It’s the kind of improvement you only notice when you stop taking it and immediately regret your life choices. Easy to Take The tablets are a reasonable size—not horse pills, not tiny pellets you drop and lose forever. They go down easy and don’t leave any weird aftertaste, which is more than I can say for half the supplements I’ve tried. Bonus: No Surprise Side Effects Some magnesium supplements act like they’re trying to cleanse your soul and your digestive system. This one? Gentle. Respectful. It minds its business and lets you live your life. Final Verdict If you want magnesium that is: - High quality - Reliable - Easy to take - Backed by a brand your family already trusts - And actually helps your body chill out …this is the one.

20 day supply
I use supplements to help close the gap between modern nutrition levels in our food and the levels that were there when I was young. But, in my opinion, the supplement industry has both some of the highest integrity companies, and some of the lowest. So I try to give a detailed enough review to help you know the company and product better so you can determine for yourself whether or not you want to try this one out. This bottle comes about half full, which is one of my pet peeves with many supplement companies. I would prefer they put in more gummies and/or use a smaller bottle. In this case I prefer more gummies because I like at least one month's worth in a bottle, and this has only 20 days' worth. If used as directed it will last 20 days. The expiration date on mine (THANK YOU for not printing it on the bottom of the bottle!) is Nov 2027. The gummies are somewhat firm, which I like. I do NOT like the grittiness from the sugar. I don't like things coated in sugar anyway, but this is worse because it has a feel to it that's hard to explain - finer than sugar and with a kind of dry powderiness to it that I am unfamiliar with. There is also somewhat of an odd aftertaste that doesn't wait until you're done eating the gummies to show up; it goes along with the odd scent - somewhat reminiscent of strawberries, but not in an appealing way. The scent and taste aren't enough to deter me from using them for magnesium, but I know some people who will avoid them. I like my supplements to say organic, non-GMO, GMP-certified, 3rd-party tested, and made in the USA. This says none of those. I look into the supplement companies I use because I've come across so many questionable ones. Their phone number is on the bottle. The NatureMade site is functional and informative. It says they started in 1971. I like that they share details about the company history, their science and leadership team, and they have resources to help with your knowledge and health. I did not see where I can look up the results of any testing they do, but otherwise I pretty much like what I see. I seem to take longer than most to see results when starting a new supplement but it's nice to find an established company with good products (like using magnesium citrate here instead of magnesium oxide, which some supplement companies use). I have some gummy supplements that are more enjoyable and don't have sugar in them, but one of my kids likes them (otherwise I'd give them 3 stars due to only 20 servings and the unappealing texture of the sugar). I'd get them again for him if this were a full 30-day supply. Thank you for reading, I hope it was helpful.

Nature Made quality without the sugar...or the pill
I’ve used other Nature Made supplements and trust their quality, so I was happy to find their magnesium gummy that skips the sugar, aspartame, and high fructose corn syrup. I specifically wanted this version because it uses magnesium citrate, which absorbs better than the magnesium oxide found in many other brands. Gummies are also a fun treat type of alternative to swallowing a fist of pills or dealing with messy powders. A zero sugar formula is the right call because added sugars are completely unnecessary in a supplement. These have a mild berry flavor without the bitter chemical taste or rubbery texture you often find in sugar-free options. They also don't stick to your teeth or arrive clumped together in a melted mess, so it’s easy to get a two-gummy dose out of the bottle. After taking these nightly for about a week, I noticed falling asleep faster and feeling less muscle fatigue after long days. I also haven't had any of the stomach upset that typically comes with magnesium in pill form. The only real drawback is the bottle count. Forty gummies is an odd 20-day supply at the recommended dose, which makes reordering turnaround feel a little quick. Most supplements give a 30 or 60 day supply, but getting an effective 200mg of magnesium without the sugar overload or the struggle of large capsules still makes these a great choice.

Taste is just OK
I had been a long time user of Nature Made's "regular" (with sugar) Mag Citrate gummies, until they changed the flavor/formula about a year and a half ago. I like vitamin/mineral gummies because they allow me to have a little "candy" while also getting a bit of supplementation. However, with these, the taste is unusual for a gummy. It's possible I'm just not a malitol guy, but I find I have to "force" myself to take these. I took two gummies every day for a week before writing this review. I learned to tolerate them, but I would not buy these with my own money. Also, you only get a 20-day supply here. The with sugar version is a 30-day supply for about the same cost.
