Smart lightweight jacket.
Looks good and fits well, hopefully ideal for those spring and autumn days when it's too warm for a coat but too chilly to go without, especially when cycling, or if it looks like it might rain.

Good Jacket for the price
Great jacket for the price. I found the sleeves were a little tight. Made for someone a little thinner! On the whole worth buying

Too short/ poorly cut in the arms, poor structure in the neck; great colour though.
Somehow, I knew this would happen. I ordered the medium, which is my usual size, but the arms arm a bit too short in practice. While it fits fine with the arms held down at the sides, I find the cut is not generous enough at the armhole to support much movement—say, reaching something overhead or out in front of you—without the sleeve riding up the wrist and pulling at the shoulder. Based on this, I would say you'd need to size up, but check the size chart first. While I'm usually a medium, with certain brands like Decathlon, I'm actually a large. The dark grey they've used is a really nice colour; dark enough to be neutral and flexible, but distinct enough from black or navy that you could pair them together. The collar is thin and doesn't have a lot of structure, and seems to rely on a crease in the fabric; I've seen this employed elsewhere on other jackets, but it leads to a weak-looking neck area when zipped up, and looks awful if you carry a backpack on your shoulder. There are two waist pockets with zips, and a standard soft, shiny polyester lining, which is the same used for the interior of the jacket. There is also a hook-and-loop-fastened pocket on the interior of the left breast, big enough for a smartphone. Stitching is generally good throughout. The material feels nice to the touch, with a classic softshell type of fabric, and is light enough for warmer months where you might want something more than a t-shirt. Overall though, I'm not sure I'd recommend this based on the construction alone. Pricing also isn't great for what is essentially a bomber jacket that isn't doing anything particularly special or well. Somehow, I don't think these things would be resolved at the next size.

Excellent versatility
If you want a lightweight jacket that works across everyday life rather than just one specific use, this is a really good buy. It’s the sort of jacket that makes sense for commuting, golf, travel, casual weekends, or those in-between weather days when you want something practical without looking too sporty or bulky. What stood out most to me is the value for money. It looks smart enough to wear casually, feels comfortable on, and the waterproofing works very well, which makes it more useful than a lot of lightweight jackets that only really manage one or two of those things properly. It’s easy to throw on and it works well for everyday wear because it doesn’t feel heavy or restrictive. The style is another plus. It has a clean, versatile look that suits a lot of situations, so you can wear it for casual outings, work, or outdoor activities without it feeling out of place. That makes it a good option if you like clothes that can do a bit of everything rather than needing a different jacket for each occasion. Comfort-wise, it also does well. It’s light enough to wear easily, but still gives enough protection against wind and light rain to make it genuinely useful. For spring, summer, and autumn especially, it’s the kind of jacket that can end up getting a lot of wear simply because it’s so easy to reach for. The only downside I found is that the zips on the pockets can get trapped a little too easily, which is frustrating on an otherwise very practical jacket. It’s not enough to ruin it, but it does take away from the smooth, easy-to-use feel you want in something designed for everyday convenience. Overall, this is a stylish, comfortable, and very useful lightweight jacket that offers excellent value. If you want something versatile with reliable waterproofing and a smart casual look, it’s a strong 4-star choice.
