Weighs itself down well
With a good box cutter blade and a yard stick, I was able to turn it into 3 mats. The material is durable and weighs itself down keeping itself flat. Rolls up nicely as well.

Great for puppy pen!
We have an indoor and outdoor pen that connect with a dog door and the mat is great for keeping our puppy and her messy paws off the floor. The rubber texture keeps her from slipping and also stabilizes the pen walls so she can't slide them out of place when she leans against them. Super easy to vacuum up debris and wipe off stains. Very happy with the size and is holding up well against her little claws. Highly recommend!

It's lightweight but perfect for my backdoor platform deck to keep the wood protected.

Versatile!
I originally purchased this for an indoor floor mat to help my child after surgery navigating flooring changes with his wheelchair and subsequent crutches. I wanted him to have a smooth surface and with the texturing it didn't move. Then I was having my floors done and used it to put furniture on outside to protect the furniture legs. That's where I discovered I could pull the mat with my chest and clock on it across concrete easily. At some point I tossed it on the back deck where it has become PERFECT to use under our Traeger to catch the delicious messes that we make when smoking. I have Clorox wiped it, used isopropyl alcohol on it, power washed it, spilled, walked, rolled, drug it on concrete... you name it and it still looks great! It took less than a day laying upside-down for the roll to lay completely flat. It does ship rolled up but don't worry, that did not permanently cause the edges to lift. I did see another review that said something about the smell? I didn't notice a smell at all. I did open it as soon as the package landed and wipe it down with Clorox wipes on both sides and laid it on my dining room table overnight for the roll to flatten. Idk if that cured the smell but I honestly didn't notice one. Great purchase and I want 5 more now. I want one in my laundry room under the washer and dryer for the laundry spills, one for my truck bed and a few in my garage. This is the most versatile product I think I've ever purchased. Highly recommend for anything you may need.

Great value grill mat
This mat is exactly what I needed around my grill. Thick enough to protect the surface of my deck from grease easy to clean with alittle over lap and the price is perfect. You won't be disappointed

First and last dog (revisited)
I recently was asked by a fellow Amazon customer if this mat would work under an office chair where the floor underneath the mat was concrete. The choices yes, don’t know, etc. weren’t clear enough to offer useful opinion, so I’ll put it here.I think it will work fine, it’s too then to be squishy, and be hard to roll. That said, I have 5 of these mats but no rolling chair to try it out. Hopefully this helps.I still miss my dog but I now understand why anyone could get another dog after going through the heart break. It’s simply that there is another dog who needs a loving home.I took a chance and bought the first one. I cut it to fix the dimensions of my shower stall and used leather punches to make a set of holes that align with the drain.I have a really old dog, a Grand Pyrenees. This is my first dog so for those of you like me who don’t know dogs, she’s a big (65 pounds) white as snow fur dog who was used by a back yard breeder to make puppies and then let loose on the side of the road when she didn’t. She got rescued by some good folks who took care of her and made her available for adoption. I’ll try to get to the mat... her plumbing is shot for both product lines, Chanel Number One, and Chanel number 2. I modified an extra large person diaper that provides containment. Her back legs give out and when she is laying down she can’t get up. Also if she’s up and falls to a sitting position, she can’t get up. So the number one daytime (and night time) game show at my house is to keep her from squishing the pancake. When it’s I’m sorry you’ve been a wonderful contestant time, I needed the mat to help keep her from flopping around while I do the wash up on aisle 2 in the shower. My decade plus in Special Education provided me with the skill and patience for this.Do not try this at home; I am a professional. But if you insist because you too can’t give up on your old dog, let me add one tip. Cut some nylon window screen and put it under the mat. The piece I use is full size and duct taped to the tile under the mat. Dog fur in the drain will cause a clog.I bought a couple more mats, one for where she falls into her feeding dish and one for the floor just before she heads out to the backyard on the ramp I built. Yes, I built a ramp, of course I did! When the mat takes a ding and curls a bit, I flip it over and it flattens out.And now a question for anyone still reading this? Why would anyone get a dog to have to go through this heart ache every 10 years? When my large screen TV dies, I just put in the CRV and take it to e-waste for re-cycling.Anyway....
