Easy to use!
These were the shortest ones I could find but needed much less. We ended up cutting theme down with wire cutters but they worked perfectly!

Poor quality
I bought these to install r6 faced insulation to the underside and sides of my a/c plenum. I cleaned the area with rubbing alcohol and applied the pin. It did not stick at all. So I used liquid nails to adhere the pin to the plenum but then I had trouble with the pin breaking off of the base.

Bigger pad would be better
Adhesive stick pretty well on smooth surfaces but the spikes are a little wimpy. Using foamboard is a little much for the spike diameter, although paper backed insulation works just fine. I would prefer the adhesive pad be much larger for most of my needs, but I received exactly what I ordered and they were well packaged. Be careful of the spikes, they are really pokey!

Fast and easy to use
These are great for guides while installing foam board insulation. But I wouldn't trust the adhesive alone, which is to be expected. They adhere well. They're sharp and easily pierce FBI. My only real problem was doing it myself, and not having someone to help me. That would've made the job easy. Trying to balance an 8' length of FBI and get it to slide over these is tough by yourself. The first couple panels required me to redo them before finalizing them against the glue on the garage door. (I'm double insulating - the garage door is insulated, but I'm adding FBI for more insulation as it's my workshop even in winter.) I also bought the perforated version and used them alongside these. I think the perforated version is better as you glue them and the glue is through the base which makes them more stable. The downside is that you need to wait for the glue to cure, whereas these are faster to use immediately.

Exactly as described.
These adhesive-backed insulation pins helped me secure foam insulation sheets to concrete basement walls and the underside of a suspended concrete slab. Typically, I use spray adhesive and expandable rods to hold the panels in place while the adhesive cures. Using four pins per sheet supported vertical applications without adding support poles. I used four pins and a single support pole per panel for the overhead application. Pushing a 4โ x 8โ panel onto the pins was relatively easy with one-inch panels. Three-inch panels were still doable, but required considerably more effort. Be mindful of the pins' location as they are very sharp-tipped and not something you want to have puncture your palm!

Gives you an extra hand when installing insulation.
Very handy item for installing insulation when you're on your own! Easy to use, peel and stick (didn't like too dusty a surface) then put in your insulation between the studs and pierce the insulation with the pin at the top to stop it just falling down when you go to grab your plasterboard. You probably need a couple for each piece of insulation unless you're using super lightweight stuff as these do bend a little bit on the base (knocked a star for that). The one I got a bit dusty and wouldn't stick I just stuck on with a bit of grab adhesive and did that panel the next day, so you don't waste them fully if you do drop them etc... VERY SHARP!!! so be careful when pushing the insulation onto them to keep your hands out of the way! ยฃ16 for the 120mm ones (50 pieces) I thought was alright to save having to ask for help or figure another way of doing the same job with another item
