The spray gun itself worked for doing a radiator flush on my crown vic. But look closely at that water hose quick connect. It's a compression fitting. It's designed for a water hose without a threaded end. They expect you to cut the end of your garden hose, attach this quick-connect to it, and only ever use the hose for this one specific tool. I just used the flushing plug from the deck on my riding mower with this instead. The air fitting that comes with the radiator flushing gun is one of those short stubby fittings that comes with most air tools that you throw away before putting an L fitting on. A mini roll of Teflon tape came with this. But as you probably guessed, it's that super cheap stuff that takes like 3 wraps to do the same thing as a single wrap of "store bought" Teflon tape. Once you get it setup, the radiator flushing gun works pretty well. You lost a star because a standard American garden hose with 3/4" threads does not work without modification or ingenuity with this flushing gun.

This product worked perfectly for me! I have a Jeep Wrangler and I needed to flush out my heater core. I know there's lots of ways you can do it. You could simply use a garden hose, but this worked better. It really does give lots of pressure and just where you need it and it fits into the heater hose much better than a garden hose ever would. The garden hose sprays all over me and the engine and everywhere else because it doesn't actually fit in the heater hose. This coolant system flush gun fit inside the hose so there was no mess. It worked perfectly. It only took me a couple of minutes once I had everything hooked together I put together end of my heater hose into a bucket cause I really did want to see what would come out and I was surprised. I was really surprised how much dirt and settlement was sitting in my heater core. I was having intermittent problems getting heat from my jeep all winter long and I had a feeling I knew exactly what it was since this seems to be a typical problem for Jeep owners and sure enough this coolant system flush gun fix the problem immediately right away. I had way more heat than normal. This thing worked great for me. It's easy to set up and it's inexpensive. It's not one of those things you're gonna use every day but if you need to flush out your cooling system and everybody does at some point if you keep your car for a long time, this is the perfect companion and I would absolutely purchased it again for the price and the quality and the ease of use I'd say this is a five star product 100%.

Was not able to use with garden hose do to lower water fitting.

The quick connect water is for a ½ inch hose, not the standard ¾ or ⅝ inch hose. While this might work fine for smaller engine vehicles, it did not work for my Ram 3500

Yes it worked had to make a adapter to flush heater hoses.

If you need to flush your radiator, this tool does an impressive job of pressurizing your garden hose to more effectively blast out old coolant! Well made and thoughtfully designed. Great functionality and easy to use! Great find!
