Works well, just makes a shallow flare. About half the depth as expected.

This drill bit style swage tool has a 1/4" hex shank and fits my electric drills/drivers, but honestly I only use it with a hand driver handle, because I'm not working with anything but thin copper water line, and doing it by hand is fun. I've brought 1/4" tubing to 3/8", heating the copper first to pliable, which did cause some discoloration at the tip of this tool, but big deal, didn't affect the function. Great, even, results. The carabiner was superfluous as a carrier, but I did find an unrelated use for it. Overall, thumbs up.

This swage tool is nice and strong but the length of the swage is too short. Tubing needs to be swaged to the depth of a normal fitting of the same size. So for example 1/2” tubing has fittings that are about 1/2” deep. The depth of this swage tool for 1/2” is only about 1/4” which is way too shallow for a high pressure connection.
