Accidentally ordered this thinking it was an outside electrical enclosure but realized it is a projects box. Good thickness, and seems to be quality materials. Although it is supposedly waterproof and dust proof, not sure I would trust that, since it has a single, thin rubber type gasket that is actually just short of completely encircling the lid, thus leaving a small gap. This is however, a nice large size box for electronic projects, switch panels or other indoor applications

I often use my 3D printer to build plastic boxes for my electronic creations. However, it's a lot easier to use this product and save time. It has no knock-holes. which means you get to mount items wherever you need. (And you'll need a hole saw.) There are some mounting studs inside and outside of the box. The box includes a length of gasket material to install in the grooves in the cover. Easy to install. For wet applications, I would add a bead silicone caulk to improve the seal is this box is install in
