I installed about 160 ft of my Govee H706C Permanent Outdoor Lights. Then, the power supply went bad. All the lights would just flash green. After doing some research on Reddit and Govee Facebook groups, I was directed to this power supply as a replacement. It ended up working out great. The Govee power supply is 36 V, 3 Amps, this power supply is 36 V and can support anything from 4 Amps or less and the power plug fits snuggly into the Govee cable. One downside, however, is that the power adapter does not have the threaded collar on it. That means if you plan to install it where there is tension on the cable, you’ll want to come up with a way to more securely attach everything. I have a power adapter/power supply as well as the on off controller in a waterproof housing so it wasn’t an issue for me. Pros: - Replacement for Govee Permanent Outdoor Lights Pro LED lights (I cannot confirm it works with non-pro model). - Detachable power cable allows users to purchase longer or shorter power cables to better fit their needs. - Replace a part Govee doesn’t offer. Cons: - No threaded collar on DC plug. If there’s tension on the cable, a more secure connection may be required. - Not waterproof/water resistant. I know Govee says their power supplies are IP67 Waterproof and even though it looks like it is, it says on the label to keep it in a dry place so I wouldn’t trust that one out in the weather either. So, maybe this isn’t a con.

It doees exactly what I bought it for. I use it to power left over strings of name brand outdoor lights. They won't sell you the equipment individually so extra lights are a waste. With this and a couple of other items I am able to use the lights elsewhere.

I have govee outdoor lights, and the box that it came with malfunctioned and the lights would only go on sporadically and would blink randomly. This box was the perfect replacement, I haven’t had any issues since getting it

For a power source on my custom Bluetooth speaker table this works perfect. My only complaint is the cord is only about 6 feet long. It would be helpful to add about 3 feet for those longer runs where a power outlet is not nearby.

I bought this to use with my at home movie projector it started to over heat and smelt like it was about to catch on fire. It started to leak this weird liquid i don’t know what the liquid was. But had to stop using for fear of a fire.

This product is a good replacement for the power supply that comes with the NorticTrack S22i Bike. My power supply died only a month after I got the bike. Though NorticTrack replaced the supply, without question, it took several weeks to get that replacement. As I didn't want to stall my fitness program waiting, I ordered this supply and received it within a couple of days. Not knowing why the original supply died, I also figured it might be good to have a hot standby on hand. This power supply actually provides a higher amperage than the original supply (4A vs. 3.5A) so all is good there, with room to spare. In any event, it worked perfectly and now going on month 3 it seems to be just what I needed.

If you’ve spent more then 439.99 on a aquarium power head or pump this would be your option if you’re not looking to spend $155-$175 on a power supply when it goes up (it will) . I went through a few different vendors and some worked for a week other not at all. This one though has been great. I will also note for every electronic component and casing this is very well built. In addition it has a good reverse polarity diode in it as well. If you live in FL a that’s a huge benefit. Here is my recommendation to you fellow reefers (mount this power supply with one of those vendor recommended wall mounts)!!! Having nothing to do with the way this is built (it’s amazingly built) but think of this not being constructed for potential salt or freshwater mingling. In addition this doesn’t have the same heat sinks you’ll find on the more expensive versions that are really only there because they know your going to mount and or place it somewhere that’s going to have little or no ventilation (that’s why it’s so heavy).. One of those cool Velcro strap mounts will help. Outside of that it’s the same thing. Trust me I’ve got 8 really expensive pumps that I love and 5yrs is about the life span of power supply’s for those things if not sooner. Calibrate your state of the art pump as well, you are better off not making it work as hard or heat up for no reason. Hope this helps, I just saved you 3months of chasing amps and switchable component comparing. So yes, it’s the same thing just be respectful of the heat and placement of it (this is a must)) Best!!

This little unit pushes out 36 VDC with 1.5 Amps and does what I need. One overlooked feature is the plug that allows you to keep the leads attached while removing the meter. This is something that I used twice just today! With the very light gauge leads it is best to not keep screwing them to terminal strips and then removing, as it will result in lost wires over time. It also has a green LED that shows that it is getting power. This is useful as sometimes you find sockets that are not live AC.

My Nordic Track S22I bike screen stopped working. Turns out both my power supply and circuit board were fried somehow…. I ended up buying a new circuit board from Amazon as well as this power supply/Cord and everything is back working like new. Circuit board that was fried looked like it was working so I bought this first but turns out I needed the circuit board as well. This power supply seems identical to what Inoriginally had.
