Beginner-Friendly and Gets the Job Done
Iโll start by saying I am very much not a golfer, this is literally my first club. A neighbor has been nudging me to give golf a try, so this was purchased purely as a low pressure way to practice and see if I even enjoy the basics before going any further. From that lens, it does exactly what I need it to do. I swing it, it makes contact with the ball, and the ball moves in a generally forward-ish direction. That alone feels like a massive win at this stage. The club feels solid in hand, not flimsy or toy-like, and nothing about it feels cheap or questionable from a durability standpoint. Grip is comfortable enough for extended practice without feeling awkward or slippery, and the overall balance feels reasonable, at least coming from someone with zero refined expectations. Since I donโt have the experience to compare this to higher end or specialty clubs, I wonโt pretend to comment on nuanced performance traits. What I can say is that for learning basic mechanics, timing, and just getting used to swinging a club, it feels perfectly approachable and unintimidating. It lets me focus on fundamentals instead of worrying about whether Iโm using something โtoo advancedโ or poorly made. If youโre an experienced golfer looking for precision feedback, this review probably left you wanting. But if youโre a beginner, a casual dabbler, or someone like me who just wants to see if golf is even going to stick, this feels like a solid, no stress starting point. Itโs doing its job so far, and until my expertise extends beyond โball goes forward,โ thatโs all Iโm asking of it. And for those casual dabblers/newbies who might be asking what made me start with a 5 wood? This feedback that I got: "For beginners, a 5-wood tends to be more forgiving than a driver and often easier to hit cleanly than long irons. The larger clubhead, lower center of gravity, and added loft help get the ball airborne without requiring perfect swing speed or contact. That alone makes early practice feel more rewarding instead of frustrating. Compared to a driver, a 5-wood is usually easier to control and less punishing on mis-hits. Compared to a 3-wood, itโs typically easier to launch and doesnโt demand as much precision. Many newer players find they can make more consistent contact with a 5-wood both off a tee and from the fairway." Is all that true? I have no clue lol.

An excellent fairway wood, producing perfect shots, with a stiffer shaft for faster swingers.
The COOLO golf fairway wood has a well-balanced feel and impact. Iโve used the club on the driving range and on the course locally and it has not disappointed. The club head is weighted nicely (see my photos for some detailed pics), combined with a higher torque shaft, to produce a slightly higher ball launch angle. The grip is made of quality material and is not gummy. Hitting the ball off the fairway or short rough does not present a problem, and my shots are more forgiving than my previous 3W. For mid- distance par 4โs this club has drilled my shots right to the center of the fairway for my second shot to the green. The shaft of this fairway wood is rated A-6.5 for flexibility, so the club shaft is stiff and designed for my faster swing. The stiffer shaft helps me maintain the heads position at impact, so I am not hooking and slicing all over the course. The carbon fiber shaft keeps any excess vibration from mis-strikes from transmitting the shock to my wrists and hands. The more I swing this club on the driving range the more I like it. I have more control over my swing plane to keep my shots clean. PROS Stiffer shaft for my higher speed swings. Well balanced club head. Looks great in my bag. CONS None for a faster swing speed player. May challenge a slower speed swinger. RECOMMENDATION โ I am recommending this COOLO 16-degree loft 3 wood based on the great results on the course. Feels great and produces repeated excellent shots.

My Game is Better Alreadyโฆ
I am not a pro golfer. i am a beginner. I did not have this club in my set so I got it in hopes that it will improve my game. For me, I still need a lot of practice to keep the ball going in the right place. However, I do like this club. I found that it feels very comfortable to swing, it feels good in my hands, and I generally am hitting the ball better.

Love this club
This 7 wood has been a great addition to my bag. As I've gotten older I've slowed down and shortened my backswing, which means less distance. As a result I have to reach for the hybrid or the 5 wood for situations that used to call for a long iron. The problem is that a 5 wood is sometimes too much and the hybrid is unpredictable in my hands. That's where this beauty comes in, and it is a beauty. The shaft is matte black and the clubhead is all black, as opposed to the silver face of my other woods. Hitting balls with it feels great--the shaft has just the right flex and the large clubhead (it's bigger than my 5 wood) produces a satisfying thwack. At first it's weird to see such high loft with a wood, but that's to be expected with the 22 degree face (compared with 18 on my 5 wood). Overall, a great club for long par 3s and attacking the green on par 5s.

SOLID FEEL AND GREAT BALANCE
SLEEK DESIGN FOR EASY LAUNCH I decided to grab this 3 wood to see if switching to a senior flex would help get my swing speed back up. ๐ฏ The club is very nice looking right out of the box. The finish is sleek and modern, and it feels nicely made with attention to detail. ๐ฏ It feels great in the hand and the weight is perfect for me. The balance is great, making the head feel stable thru my swing. It is comfortable to swing and seems very forgiving. THE VERDICT This is a solid choice for the average golfer. I definitely recommend it for anyone looking to upgrade their bag on a budget. When making choices for my family, I approach products with a careful eye, prioritizing practical quality and true value that delivers real world results. I will update this review if anything changes within 1 year. โ โ โ โ โ (5 Stars): A 5 star rating indicates the product meets my expectations for its purpose.

Great for smaller upgrade in my new to me golf set.
I have a great used set of clubs- every once in a while I like to try out a new club to see if it warrants a replacement or upgrade to my older set. This has a heavy head and strikes solidly. Havenโt got to get it on the greens but it performs well at the driving range. I am able to hit center and not fly right/ nice solid sound when it connects with the ball.

Well-made, attractive and forgiving mini-driver seven wood
This is a great club. I needed a seven wood for those shorter fairways and tee-offs and this is perfect. I'm not very good with irons yet, so....It is balanced and has the right amount of flexibility for my, and my husband's, needs. I use longer clubs for my height, so this club is perfect for both of us. I find that I can achieve a high loft on nearly every swing without sacrificing distance or accuracy. This is also my go-to club for my golf simulator, as my driver is simply too large for those practice tee swings. The grip is stable and the club responds forgivingly even on my off swings. Being winter-time, I have not taken the club on course yet, but from the lofting performance from my sand mound, this club will look better on the course than I do! I am looking forward to having this club in my bag (even if it doesn't match the rest of my set) for my next golf outing - especially for those short par fours or long par threes, where using an iron might send me right into the drink.
