Run Piggy Race Game, Classic Board Game for 2-6 Players, Ages 3-7

Very fun board game for our three-year-old grandson. The whole family played together on our camping trip. Lots of ways to play. I definitely recommend.

Our grandchildren loved the game. So much fun for all.

We picked up the Run Piggy Board Game while looking for something simple, screen-free, and actually educational for younger kids-and it turned out to be such a sweet surprise. This colorful pig-themed dice game is designed for 2-6 players, making it perfect for family game night, classrooms, or playdates. Recommended for ages 3-7, it focuses on color recognition, turn-taking, and early strategic thinking in a way that feels like pure fun instead of "learning."The board and pieces are typically kid-sized-compact enough for a small table but sturdy enough for repeated play. The chunky dice and bright pig pieces are easy for little hands to grip, and the smooth surfaces make cleanup quick (just wipe and store). Compared to other preschool board games from Amazon, Target, or Walmart, this one stands out for its Montessori-inspired simplicity-no complicated rules, no batteries, no overwhelming setup. It's durable for everyday use, affordable for the quality, and visually appealing with cheerful colors that immediately grab kids' attention. Parents often appreciate that it teaches patience and color matching without feeling repetitive, while kids love the "race" element of helping their pig move across the board.Overall, it feels like one of those classic early childhood games-simple, engaging, and replayable without losing its charm.🔑 Key Features👉 Color Matching Dice Gameplay - Roll the dice and match colors to move your pig forward.👉 2-6 Player Capacity - Ideal for siblings, family nights, or small classroom groups.👉 Montessori-Inspired Learning - Encourages color recognition, fine motor skills, and turn-taking.👉 Kid-Friendly Size - Large, easy-to-handle pieces perfect for small hands.👉 Durable Board & Pieces - Sturdy construction built to withstand enthusiastic play.👉 Bright, Engaging Design - Fun pig theme with cheerful, eye-catching colors.👉 Quick Setup & Easy Storage - Minimal assembly and simple cleanup.✨ Pros✅ Educational & Fun - Blends learning with play naturally.✅ Simple Rules - Easy for preschoolers to understand without frustration.✅ Encourages Social Skills - Teaches patience, sharing, and taking turns.✅ Great Value for Money - Comparable or better quality than similar preschool games at big-box stores.✅ Screen-Free Entertainment - A refreshing alternative to tablets and TV.✅ Compact & Portable - Easy to bring to grandma's house or on trips.⚠️ Cons❌ Limited Complexity - Older kids (7+) may outgrow it quickly.❌ Short Play Time - Rounds can be quick, which some families may find too brief.❌ Basic Design - Simple gameplay may feel repetitive after extended sessions.💡 Final ThoughtsThe Run Piggy Board Game is a charming, beginner-friendly board game that's best suited for preschoolers and early elementary kids (ages 3-7). Very fun game. Different ways to play. Even made up our own for my almost 3 year old. She loved it.

We love this as a family game! It's simple and easy.

This game is fun and easy for the family. My kids are ages 3-7 just like the fame advises but they seemed to get bored pretty quickly. After a round or two they were loosing interest. As an adult I appreciated the concept and thought the color dice was a nice way to engage the kiddos. The quality seemed nice and I like that 6 people can play. The price is fair and it would make a fun gift for a family game night. Like I said I did enjoy it, I just wish my kids liked it more. Not sure why but it wasn’t very exciting for the kids.

This is a cute cooperative game where everyone works together instead of competing against each other. The rules are easy to learn and the game moves quickly enough to keep attention. Fun option for younger kids and families.

Ordered this game because I am so sick of playing princesses and Barbies and just wanted to be able to do literally anything else for a change. My 3-year old is surprisingly obsessed with this game now!The piggies are fun wooden block shape and a good size for little toddler hands -- great for playing the game with and not flimsy so they won't easily get broken if your kiddo throws a tantrum when they have to stop playing. We are already pretty good with colors and counting, but this game is still presenting a decent challenge of having the piggies just travel one spot to the right. She keeps trying to cheat and go more spots or move the piggies up or down, haha.So far we mostly just take turns rolling the dice and whatever pig wins, is the winner. But I can see this game being a family favorite for a while if she wants to claim pigs and get competitive.Kind of wish one die was colors and the other die was numbers, even just 1-3 repeated so you can't win the game with one lucky roll on your color die + the 6 on the numbered die. But I think not including the numbers makes this friendly for any age.Overall we are happy and I'd totally recommend this to other parents or even buy a copy as a gift.
