This dental dam cord is nicely crafted. It is nice quality, and is working well in the office. It is a nice basic addition for those who use dental dams. NOTE: It doesn't come with a cutter for the cord, so we found some scissors to cut it. FYI! We recommend!

This review is for the Rwbatt Dental Rubber Dam Stabilizing Cord. I am one of the few dentists that uses a rubber dam for restorative treatment on my patients as recommended by dental schools and most experts on bonding. I use a slit dam style of rubber dam and as such need something to hold the rubber dam on the most mesial tooth. If there is a proximal contact between teeth, then I use floss. If there is a space between teeth, I have to use a stabilizing cord such as this product. I typically use another brand which is similar. This product works for the intended use. However, one thing I like better about the other brand is their dispenser which has a metal piece that cuts the cord. This product does not have a cutter. I have to pre-cut this brand's cords into 1-inch strips and store them in another container to use it. It is noteworthy that this rubber dam stabilizing cord is 1/3 the price of the name brand. Therefore, this product is a good value and I think I will continue to use it.
