Minor Modification
The mounting holes had to be enlarged to accept the bushings on the 20 year old mower. The length of the pull rope was was exactly the same as the one being removed. It works well.

Does Not Fit the Models it says
It worked but not without some modifications. Wasn't exactly for the model that I ordered as the mounting holes were off somewhat and too small for my mower. I had to drill the holes out bigger and finally made it work.

Solid recoil starter; no complaints(Updated)
Perfect fit for a Troy-Bilt walk-behind mower, and seems to be of great quality. Will update if anything changes.Edited to add update: I do not recommend this item at all. Literally the day after my original review, this recoil assembly fell apart. This was only the third time it had been used. Plastic parts are very low grade and will hold the pawls in place.
