just what I was looking for and work great and easy to install

We replaced our IKEA rolling curtain tracks which are very similar with this because we always had issues with the rollers getting stuck on the connecting pieces sections. I can say that these tracks are way better made, more stable, and we no longer have any issues compared to the IKEA versions. The metal tubing is much better quality and much more durable. There is an interior plastic sleeve that the rollers run in ensuring they don't move off the track. There are also metal plates to connect each section tightly which is the biggest game changer for us. This allows each section to abut the other and stay in place tightly so that the rollers do not hit a gap and get off track or twist. This ensures smooth operation over long distances (about 18 feet for us) . You can cut any piece down to size with a simple miter saw or circular saw which allowed us to fit this in angled spaces for more versatility. The installation was super simple and much easier than the IKEA ones were even with a simple screw and when needed drywall anchor going in at whatever interval you want. It comes with both ceiling mount brackets as well as wall mount brackets allowing for multiple modes of installation. Mine had multiple four foot sections allowing me to connect and add as many as needed to adjust for the sizing of the wall and areas I needed it. It comes with just enough coupling plates to connect the three pieces, so if I needed to cut and use parts elsewhere there wouldn't be any extra connecting plates which does limit the adjustability when modifying sizes. The one drawback I saw was that the end caps are silver and not white to match like in some of the product pictures. I think this is an aesthetically displeasing look and they should be white or whatever color to match the rails. However, these rails came out to a lower cost than the IKEA version we had, but they are so much more robust and much better quality without all the negatives of rolling issues.

The instructions are a total waste of your time and sanity LOL 😂 these instructions were literally 3 sentences long, and you guessed it, they were useless! I’d recommend going back on Amazon. And looking on the actual product images to make sense out of nonsense for install. This is indeed heavy duty aluminum, sturdy, firm, and isn’t easy to bend. 🔥 the track system Glides and slides almost flawlessly, on occasions they seem to get stuck, but it’s not the biggest deal. 😏 Can be installed on the ceiling or wall mount which is perfect, as most homes are built with dry wall, having the ceiling as a hanging option is spectacular. You have the ability to lengthen or shorten your track system as needed. Includes all necessary accessories - runners, hooks, and mounting brackets for quick and easy installation VERSATILE USE: Perfect for windows, doorways, and room dividers with professional-grade construction for reliable daily use. 🔥 Even though the instructions for install wasn’t the easiest to follow, still a solid buy, installed this in my toddlers playroom, she’s able to slide (open and close) her curtains, 90% of the time without them sticking. This aluminum track system holds up my curtains effortlessly, creating privacy, plis much more, and they look good too. 😊 definitely recommended get it…won’t regret it! 🔥

The ends of this curtain track are not the ones noted on the photographs in the item page. Those look way more elegant in my opinion. They have included ones that are silver color and way to shiny. However, they work correctly. It was very easy to install. I used the ceiling mounts. It is likewise easy to snap the curtain track on the mounts. I didn't use the hooks that come in this set. I have the kind that clip to the fabric. I think the ones included here are too long.

This is a very long curtain track for curtains. I got this because it is hard to find super long ones. I needed it for my simulation center. Length was exactly as advertised and easy to assemble. Curtains glide along the track well. Great value

Curtains and rods can be pretty in the right places. But, in some scenarios, a curtain rod is not ideal. I have a home that is on a lake so I do not want to block any views. However, there are times when a curtain comes in handy, like when we have guests that might be sleeping in our den area. So, to keep my minimalistic theme of a wall of windows allowing for the views, I decided a track that would be minimal and almost invisible would be perfect. This track system allows for that effect. It can be mounted to the wall or ceiling, we did ceiling. Curtains can hang on the track hooks and hide the entire track except for the possible track that is exposed when the curtain remains open. But, you do not see the hooks at that time, so the track if virtually invisible to the eye. I also love that the track allows for an extremely easy open and closing of the curtains, no pulling and yanking on fabric to try to slide the curtains like you have on a traditional curtain rod. This track is very well made, sturdy and easy to hang using their hardware and instructions. I am very pleased.

While the product itself seems to be well made and the rollers move freely, the instructions for assembly were...less than helpful. There is no diagram, no parts list, and no help. It comes on a half sheet of paper that was mangled in the package (not to the point it could not be read). Fortunately, I am mechanically inclined and I was able to fumble my way through assembly and installation. For those that need the tips, the channel is 'U' shaped and hangs with the opening down, making the 'L' shaped mounting brackets the wall-mounts and the flat brackets for mounting to the ceiling. Overall, I like this curtain rod and believe it should do a great job with my outdoor curtain. I got a 12' kit which seems to be no longer available, but an 8' and a 4' and an 8' will do the trick - assuming they come with spare connectors (which mine did not). Presently there is a coupon for about 14% off which makes them more affordable. Even without the coupon, the price is not unreasonable for a good quality, outdoor curtain rod.

I work from home in a spare bedroom of my 1960’s home. I do a lot of Teams and Zoom meetings with clients. The stained brown bypass roller door closet behind my desk isn’t the most professional looking background. For several years, I had a king sized brick wall tapestry pinned to my wall with thumbtacks. It’s made a great backdrop and clients often comment on how much they like my office because they think the wall is real and that I live in an architecturally interesting house. However, having it pinned to the wall makes it really awkward to access the closet (which is for storage, but not clothing). I have to go under the tapestry and then pull it all smoothed down again when I’m done. I ordered this so I could hang the tapestry from the ceiling and easily pull it open or closed across the closet. A little awkward to install on a ceiling, but it does the trick and my closet is no longer no-man’s land only accessed when I plan ahead. I’ve considered treating this closet like a window using a curtain rod and long curtains. If I ever do that, I’ll move this track into a rec room to use as a room divider to block off a corner of the room that is used for a drying rack, ironing board, laundry bins and junk.
