Whitmor Natural Cotton Laundry Bag

Most laundry bags are nylon or some form of synthetic material. They don't hold up. They always rip and usually right along the seam. This laundry bag is strong and the seams are well constructed. It's also a lot larger than it looks. Great bag. Edit: As of January 3, 2012, this bag is still holding up. No rips, no tears, no frays, nothing. It gets laundered once a week with the laundry. Holds the most heavy loads, including lots of towels. Perfect.

As described/ pictured. Good cotton bag, cotton cord and cinch works well. Two mid size loads fit in it. It's a bit thinner than expected. Washed and dried it once and it held up fine, got wrinkly but didn't shrink.

It is not as sturdy as canvas, but is lightweight and easier to pack. I can fit a few days clothes before making a trip to the laundry.

These laundry bags are sturdier and roomier than they look. They also make great storage bags for seasonal items and kids toys. I would recommend buying several of these, you will be pleased with the quality for the price.

Nice size, very large and holds a lot. The material holds up pretty well. I wash it every week because I put my used gym clothes in it after working out.

Using this to store my Teton sleeping bag when not on the trail. VERY breathable, tough, and the drawstrings actually work!! If I ever need another one, I'll gladly repurchase these! 👍

The bag is paper thin. At a guess I'd say it can probably handle 40-60 lbs before ripping. I was very disappointed with the material when it arrived. It is thinner than any other piece of cloth in my home, including the one or two silk items we have, yet it claims to be heavy duty. I'd also like to point out that it does not come with metal grommets. That and the stitching around the drawstring looks sparse.

This bag is bigger than I thought it would be but that's a good thing. I had read some reviews saying that it was small but that's not the case. I was able to fit about 5 loads of laundry in it and it's well made. Looks like it'll last for quite a while.

This a a good sturdy laundry bag. Purchased to use in a rolling shopping cart to help a senior lake her laundry to the laundry room in her new apartment. Perfect for that purpose.

Thin, but hasn't ripped yet. Cheap and effective. I pay for laundry service by the pound, so I guess thin is good.

It does the job, but if the load is heavy, it can start ripping. I would suggest you buy a size larger than you need, and avoid filling it to the brim.

These laundry bags are a nice size to attractively line a mid-sized laundry hamper and the cotton is very sturdy. The finishing at the top was a little rough, with threads that tend to get caught in the sliding clamp, but a little trimming and careful use takes care of that. Overall I am very pleased with my new bags (they are replacing similar but smaller and MUCH flimsier old cotton laundry bags) and would recommend them.
