PowerSmart 7000 Watt 120V/240V Portable Generator for Home Use

Living in Illinois, we’ve been hit with quite a few severe storms lately, so I bought the PowerSmart 7000-Watt 120V/240V Portable Generator to make sure our home was fully prepared for power outages. I’m so glad I did—I’ve been incredibly impressed with the quality and performance! Here are a few highlights from my experience setting it up and using it: Quick & Clear Setup: Out of the box, the instructions were direct and easy to follow. Assembly was simple, though keep in mind you will need to add both oil and gas before running it. Dual-Start System (Electric Push Button!): This is easily one of my favorite features. Having two ways to start the unit is a huge plus. Pulling a heavy recoil cord can be really tough for me, so having that electric push-button start makes powering it up completely effortless and stress-free. Heavy-Duty Build Quality: You can tell right away that this isn't made from cheap materials. It feels solid, heavy, and well-constructed to handle tough conditions. Convenient Power Options: It features multiple outlet types, giving you plenty of flexibility to plug in critical household items during an emergency. Noise Level & Value: Given its high power output, it does make some noise, but it's reasonable for a generator of this size and not overwhelmingly loud. For the price point, the value is unbeatable. Overall, this generator gives me complete peace of mind knowing we are ready for the next severe weather event. If you need a heavy-duty, dependable generator with an easy start option, I highly recommend this PowerSmart model!

Awesome generator. Got it pretty quick and in great condition. Realized that it takes 10W-30 4 stoke oil. Got the oil, filled it up and it fired right up. Ran it for about 30 minutes without load. I have used saws and sander from the generator with no issues. Also used it with our pop-up camper with no issues. Ran the fridge, fans and all the lights. After the trip, my father-in-law also bought one. You can connect two together as well which will be nice if we have more people on a trip that needs more power. It's also not too loud. It is a generator so it is not silence but it is not obnoxious. Real good value for money.

This product was delivered on time, packing was good all parts a pieces were in the box. Added oil, started it up no issues took a few pulls the first time. Tested on my Travel Trailer, 30 Amp service, ran fine no stressing on the engine had AC on full blast, refrigerator running, all lights and equipment turned on. Ran it for about 2 hrs as a test. Turned gas switch off let gas run out. Started it a few days later started up no problems. Looks solid made well. I like the separate gas shut off switch ( metal switch not plastic junk), my experience, you need a good gas shut off switch to keep the carbonator from getting clogged. Sound level not bad, did not measure it. Good inverter for the price. Plan to take this across the country this summer as backup power for the TT.

This is a great generator for the money. We were able to run several items at once small 110 and then we also had the two 40 plug I believe and we could run big stuff. This is something I highly recommend for every home to have

Great generator, works better than I expected

Great invertor for the price. Starts right up and consistently handles the power advertised. We pretty much use about 60% of the running watts and it handles it at a good operating volume. At startup, we push the max and it never waivers and even then the noise is acceptable for our local requirements. If you want a reliable invertor at a great price, I recommend this one. Yes there are quieter ones, but they cost at least double and are only about 5 or 6 dB quieter.

Do not buy this inverter generator the seller neglects to state that it's only a 2500 watt generator per plugs on the inverter generator useless and you can't return the generator once you open it and the manual let's you know that it's only a 2500 watt generator

Lightweight, quiet and built strong. Functionality of the unit was perfect for what I needed. If you need something simple to use, this is definitely the choice to make.
