Picked this up thinking it would just sit on the table and look nice, but it’s somehow become the star of the room. Gives off that cosy, café sort of glow that makes even a takeaway dinner feel a bit fancy. Touch control feels oddly satisfying, like pressing a magic button for instant atmosphere. Magnet bit is fun too, makes me feel like I own a tiny science experiment that happens to light up my nightstand. Battery lasts ages, and it’s easy to carry around when I want to feel dramatic on the patio.

Who doesn't love an outdoor garden light? So, when the 'Cordless Portable Mood Table Lamp – Modern Touch Sensor Light with Magnetic Filament' from the Kmok store came onto the Vine program, I thought it would be an ideal item to review. The light came neatly packed along with a USB cable, and a simple guide. It is a lot smaller than expected, but exactly the size advertised! The 'sensor' is basically one haptic button that requires tapping for each different feature - there is nowhere else on the lamp to change settings, so not the 'modern touch sensor light' I was hoping for, but it works well enough. The outer casing is a bit worn-looking, which shows up in certain lights which is a pity. It has a thin central strip-light with adjustable brightness and with an RGB colour-changing internal base. It claims to be good enough for reading, but even at 100% I struggled - it is far more suited for indoor/outdoor mood lighting. The lamp lasts for a decent amount of time once fully charged, but how long the battery lasts is anyone's guess. At £27.99 (at time of writing) for such a little lamp, it's a bit on the pricey side, but good for creating a 'mood'. I only review products I would want for myself. We got this to use at sound baths - we generally have led candles amd a few lamps around the edges but in larger halls it can be hard to see what you are doing in the middle but we don't like harsh lighting. This is great - everyone loves it, really atmospheric. Super handy to be able to recharge lasts for ages, compact and light to move around. The colours are really pretty. Brilliant!

In the box you get the lamp, ( much smaller than expected ), USB-A to USB-C charge cable and instructions. The lamp is very easy to use, on the base you have a touch sensitive button, touch to switch on and cycle through the colours, ( there are five modes with two colours, warm and rgb, a long touch on the button switches the lamp off. On the opposite side to the power/mode button you have the USB-C charge port, hidden under a protective waterproof cover. There is no real dimming/brightening capability with this lamp, but you do have a bright mode and a dim mode option. My only issue with the lamp was it had some marks/scratches on the smoked shell, other than that it was fine.

I'm gonna be honest, when I opened this box, it did not instill much confidence in me lol The box is cheap and looks beat up, and the way it was taped almost looked like a return. So, needless to say, I was concerned. But! Never judge a book by it's cover. And I just moved and need some vibey lighting so on we go. Thankfully, this was a diamond in the rough (box)! First off, it came charged so I got to try it out right away which was exciting. I also do love the USB charge so you can charge it up and place it wherever, with no worry of where your plugs are. I've had it running for about 4 hours straight without it dying, so battery life seems good so far. It has 4 settings - the first 2 have no color and are just 100% and 20% lighting. The 3rd and 4th are the RGB with the light, and the RGB with no light. The colors rotate in the little "pool" at the bottom. You just tap the button on the side to change the lighting, it's super easy. It's a very unique little light and I haven't seen anything like it. I think for the design and functionality, this is definitely a worthy purchase to make your home a little cuter and cozier! I will update on the longevity and battery life when I've had it more than a handful of hours as well.
