Algebra II: 1,001 Practice Problems For Dummies

It's a very good set of problems for someone who is really serious about individual/independent study and acquisition of algebra skills. It's probably a stretch for the expectations of the usual "dummy".

Very good practice book, with lots of problems and clear answers which show you every step. However, if you need some explanation as to why a problem is solved a certain way, or you want some explanation about rules, you will need to use this book with another book, like Algebra 2 for Dummies. One big issue I had was that some of the problems have the exact same numbers in them, with only half the equation different from the previous problem. This makes some of the work too routine to get the variety needed for thorough learning to take place. Also, some of the practice problems are just too easy, and there are too many repeats of the easy ones. After practicing with this book (especially logarithms, exponential functions)and then trying to do hard test questions of similar problems, I realized how easy and routine some of the practice problems are in some sections. This must be changed in the future!! Therefore I gave it only 4 stars, and probably should have given it only 3 for this. However there is a lot of good in this cheap book so 3 seemed a bit too low.

A good book for a lot of practice.

Really good with pages of questions then the answers in the back. Only practice will make you learn any maths and this book will help a lot.

Great book for extra exercises that are explained in the algebra 2 book and workbook. It helped my daughter master concepts that she had problems with.

Book looked in good condition but when I went to use it hmm pages I actually needed were not there. Not happy about that.
