Does this work on a toshiba smart TV?

as long as the tv has a usb port it should work regardless of brand. its the same as a wireless keyboard and mouse syatem only alot more compact.

Has anyone tested this device to see it works with a cctv dvr or nvr????

can't imagine why it wouldn't work as long as nvr or dvr has an original remote in the first place

How do you connect to a firestick?

You have to buy an otg cable from Amazon that connects to the firestick and provides a usb connection for the remote dongle then your good to go.
