Spice and Wolf, Vol. 14 (light novel): Stories: Volume 14

This is by far the best one yet of the series. Hasekura finally managed to better label the characters who were speaking with only a handful of times where I was uncertain. That was the biggest factor keeping me from 5 star reviews before in the series. As for the story itself, even though it was merely a preparatory story, it was so well done that it doesn't feel like prep work for something bigger. It feels like its own story with stakes every bit as large as the others with entire cities and lives at stake. The plotting and scheming was on the same level as those as well. It was a terrific story. The character growth in this one volume is impressive to say the least. Especially from Holo. I don't see how the rest of the series could get any better. More suspenseful and exciting? Sure. But not necessarily better. Well done Hasekura. Well done.

It's a Spice and Wolf book. What's not to love!

Eine großartige Geschichte mit sehr interessanten Charakteren.

Well it took forever to arrive but in the end it arrived just today. looking so much forward to reading it, since i have been waiting to continue reading. i purchased all volumes from 13 and up to 17 at the same time, got 13, 15,16, and 17 all together but book number 13 was missing up till today :_( I am so much looking forward to reading finishing this master piece of literature.

Cosa posso dire? Da fan della serie, è un must have! Peccato che in Italia non arriverà mai in italiano. L'edizione inglese della YenPress è perfetta.
