I've been crafting over 40 years but I have never taken an interest in miniatures and dollhouses until recently. Dollhouses are a bit complex and there is an order in which to assemble them so as to make it easy on the crafter. I purchased a dollhouse kit, opened it, read the instructions and quickly placed it back in the box. I went online to learn more before I began the project and this book has been very helpful. If I had followed the directions in my dollhouse kit I would have been very disapointed and frustrated. I am so glad I read this book first! I also read many great ideas on how to customize a dollhouse on a budget with wonderful results! Kudos to the writer. It's a home run in my book and worth the read!

I am new to the mini world. I have been looking for books to help me with existing projects and how to start new ones. There are helpful articles in this book and the pictures are very nice. This book has given me some good incentives to work toward. For now, maybe a I need a more DIY minis for dummies type book.

I have not had a chance to really check this book out as yet. Hopefully after the first of the year I will have time to spend onmy dollhouses.

If you want to get more detailed or make your dollhouses more special, then get this book. If you have been buying or making dollhouses for a while, and are ready to get real fancy with them, this is your book. Lots of detail on every aspect.

A MUST HAVE book for decorating the outside of the dollhouse.If you're looking for decorating the actual dollhouse ( ie. textures, roofing, doors, staircases, exteriors, fences/ gardens, flooring) this is my absolute must have. and i own more than 30 dollhouse books. !

Easy to use and set out logically, great tips.. The outside of my dollshouse should now look much more authentic.

This is a very good book. Gives great ideas for the house. Most are for homes that are not put together. Still most are able to be done. Very fast shipping. Boik is in great shape.

I was really pleased to get this book, as it gave me lots of tips, and reminded me of things I had forgotten I knew.The author is "one of us", which is always comforting when ones hobby means that one usually works alone. Very pleased.
