Bella Wireless 5-Button HD Mouse with USB Transmitter/Receiver

Update after 8 months:Two big issues have developed, one of which may have been caused by the other. First, I got a new computer and could not re-download the software because the Bella website is now "under construction". Second, it has become increasingly common for button clicks to not register (especially left clicks) and for the mouse pointer to lag behind actual mouse movement.The finish still looks nice and all the pads on the underside of the mouse are still intact, but it sure would be nice if the mouse functioned reliably.Original review____________Good:It's a good size for my small hands.It's comfortable to use while still being symmetrical and ambidextrous.It turns off when not used to save batteries but starts up again instantly.The matte coating doesn't get filthy the way glossy coatings do, nor does it deteriorate the way rubberized coatings do.Buttons and clicks can be reassigned to reproduce keypresses, open programs, or even perform macros.Reassignments can be set globally or can have overrides for specific programs.You can set up multiple profiles with different settings for each one and switch between them. (I haven't used this feature, though.)Bad:The HD toggle can't be turned off and must be assigned to one of the five basic buttons, so I can't reassign all the buttons the way I want.The dongle is standard size, not compact like newer mice, and it doesn't have a pocket or niche in the mouse for storage.There's a little plastic bump on the heel of the mouse, I assume to make sure it sits level. Unfortunately it ends up scraping against my desk and making noise.I haven't had it long enough to comment on durability.Overall, it's pretty good. A software update to let you disable HD mode or reassign it to a combination button press rather than a default button would make it great.

Had the feel of cheap overseas quality. I gave it away to a friend to useand it took me only minutes to decide this.

Hard to program.

This mouse came unfunctional, not worth the shipping to return. The usb adapter is from the 80's* those big sized ones from when wireless first came out. Tried everything, I am computer literate. Dead on arrival.

Amazing

I'll admit that I didn't research this mouse heavily when I bought it. I just wanted a five button mouse. After getting the mouse, I didn't realize there was a website, [...] that you can download the driver and really customize your mouse. It's actually kind of cool if you're heavily into World of Warcraft or use Photoshop and want to create your own shortcuts. I would suggest looking at the tutorial before buying this mouse.My computer recognized the mouse fine and appears to work fine. The grip is decent.Unfortunately, the mouse does not come with an off/on switch, so in order to not drain your battery when not in use, you have to remove the battery. Not ideal for a wireless mouse in my opinion.The receiver is bigger than I expected. I was also expecting to be able to store the receiver in the mouse for portability like most mice and less chance of losing it in my laptop case.Overall it's a good mouse, it's a bit of overkill on what I intended the mouse to be used for, which is everyday web browsing and light WoW gaming.

OK maybe the mouse is not the best quality , but all I care is speed up my work and this mouse is amazing saving tones of time. instead of using the keyboard use the mouse for shortcuts
