1 Gas Can Spout Replacement with Gasket, Cap and Stopper. Fits Rubbermaid Essence Gott & Some RotopaX Kolpin Blitz.

The product replaced the stupidly safe, over-engineered original spout--the one that is so safe it prevents any gasoline from leaving the container. The Kool Product spout fits the container perfectly but could use a stopper or cap to keep gasoline from splashing out of the spout. The original equipment was too big a PITA to keep, but it did keep fluids from splashing out the spout. Customer service informed me that the company makes a spout that includes a cap. It might be worth spending a bit more to get that extra feature. But the spout as delivered is well worth the price in the aggravation avoided. I would buy it again.

This spout is certainly a good replacement for the ones that originally came with the Blitz cans. I wish they made them just a little longer because you can't empty all the contents before the top of the fuel can hits the side of a vehicle when the can is tipped, if that makes sense. I deducted one star because the cap will not stay on the spout. It is a poor fit.

Form, fit , function replacement. Plastic is a little stiff so will have to see how it holds up (if it cracks like the original one).

I was going to throw a gas can away because the child proof spout on it was horrible. I only have 2 hands and these new spouts they put on gas cans these days you need 3 hands to operate and not spill gas all over. This spout fixed all my problems and will buy more to go on my other gas cans. Thumbs up

The yellow cap is the correct thread for the Rubbermaid gas can but does not tighten enough to hold funnel with out leaking. Was able to use original cap with new funnel.

My original review gave poor ratings: "Leaks from the gasket area... I tried both caps and gaskets that it came with... LOTS of gas waste...."UPDATE: The package comes with 2 rubber gaskets, it's important to use both: one between the spout and the cap, and other between the spout and the gas can hole. No leaks. The longer spout works perfectly to fill my car.

The nozzle is stiff (not very flexible) and the collar did not thread onto my Rubbermaid gas can so I had to use the original collar on the new spout which works ok so far. I took the advice of one of the other reviewer’s and used the heat gun to form the nozzle into a bent position since it doesn’t flex that well and that was also a good suggestion

I liked that the pouring spout was like we use to be able to buy from local stores in that the gas comes out flowing as it should. What was not that likeable was the ring the spout fits in didn't fit my 5 gallon container but was easily fixed by taking the 5 gallon container's original ring and inserting the spout in it then attached it to the container.
