A Guinea Pig Christmas Carol (Guinea Pig Classics)

Incredibly cute and fun, A Guinea Pig Christmas Carol presents a creative new vision of this classic tale. When an old curmudgeon named Scrooge is visited by three Spirits he learns the error of his ways and is given a chance at redemption. Author Alex Goodwin has done a wonderful job at breaks down and adapting Charles Dickens novel into little snidbits that capture the core of the story, as well as Dickens writing style (often using the origin text). And the costumes and set designs created by Tess Newall are adorable. A Guinea Pig Christmas Carol is a beautiful and inspired picture book that does justice to Dickens classic and opens it up to a new audience.

I have bought all of these guinea pig classics books for my sister and each one has been a winner. She loves them and I get to enjoy reading them before I give them to her. I'm a dog person but can appreciate the delight of seeing all of the guinea pigs dressed in period costumes to be photographed to illustrate the various stories. I hope the author and photographer continue their collaboration. I can't wait to see what book they release for next year.

Cute story, but expected it to be a normal sized book for that price. It is literally a pocket book, because it will fit in a childs pocket

This is a beautiful little book! My students loved it and I love that they were so engaged in a classic tale with a cute twist. The visuals are adorable. I want to get the whole series to read to my students.

They are definetly for older children. I bought it for my 6 year old granddaughter because she has a guinea pig but Ill have to hang on to it for a year or two. Very cute pictures tho.

Gave this to my friend's 8 year-old granddaughter who loved it! She opened it on Christmas Eve and immediately read it aloud to the delight of everyone present. A high quality book with actual quotes from the Dickens' original and adorable full color photos, this is a unique addition to any a child's library. Tucked away at the very end are thoughtful words about small pets and organizations which rescue them.

I purchased this for my 14 year old daughter as a Christmas gift. I had no idea what to expect, but I love it and know she will too. The story follows the classic tale and has adorable pictures of Guinea pigs as the characters. I can't wait to give it to her.

I love this so much. We have guinea pigs at home and my 6 year old son was all AWWWW’s and OOOOHHH’s over the cuties in the book :)

This book is beautifully illustrated and good for a laugh; the pictures are real guinea pigs dressed up as the characters. It is quite a small book but high quality.
