This Chia Pet Papa Smurf is exactly what I hoped it would be—fun, nostalgic, and actually works really well. The planter itself is nicely detailed and looks great even before the seeds grow in. Setup was simple: just soak, spread the seeds, and keep it watered. Within a few days I started seeing sprouts, and after about a week it really started filling in. The “hair” grows in evenly and looks awesome once it’s fully in. It’s a great conversation piece and honestly just a fun little thing to have around. Comes with everything you need to get started, and you can reuse it with more seeds later. Perfect as a gift or just something different for your desk or kitchen. Would definitely buy again.

FYI!!!!! This was a cute gift BUT.....Amazon mails it as is in no box or packaging. Received with lables and tape and damage to the box. Not really giftable in that condition. Returned it and received another in the same por condition. Just an FYI!!!!! As for the product, I ended up keeping for myself since the box was in bad shape. It's such a cute and funny idea. Perfect for any simpsons fan! Grew with no problem . I really wish I could have gifted it.

I bought this SpongeBob Chia Pet for my grandson, but we haven't actually planted it yet. Right now, it's just sitting on the shelf as a fun collector's item in his room, and it looks great just as decorative pottery. The character design is spot-on and recognizable right out of the box, though since we haven't sprouted the chia seeds, I can't say for sure how well it grows. I hold back five stars because there is always room for improvement, but as a neat SpongeBob novelty piece, it does its job just fine.

Product was adorable ideal for my daughter’s birthday, but when we unpacked it to assemble, we found it cracked and damaged. Unfortunately, it was past the return window, so we were left with chia seeds. Lesson learned Always inspect your purchase immediately upon delivery to ensure you can return or exchange it if there’s a defect.

So beautiful 😍 Nice quality. Grew in about 4 days. Please consider that before adding the seeds you should soak the product in water so the chia seeds attach properly onto it.

Looks nice but around 24 hours after filling with water most of the seeds have slid off.

The Chia Pet Sonic the Hedgehog is such a cool and fun twist on a classic. The details on Sonic were better looking than I expected. Even before the chia grows, and once it starts sprouting, it’s really fun to watch it come to life. My kids loved to wake up each morning or check when they got home from school to see how much grew. The chia seeds grew evenly and pretty quickly, but did find it was only as long as you follow the instructions. It’s easy to take care of, I kind of left that to my kids to do, and they were able to handle it no problem. It makes a great display piece on a desk or shelf. We had it on a shelf in the kitchen, and got so many questions and complements, that we gave those people chia pets for their birthdays and the loves them too. It’s both a fun activity and a unique decoration. Overall, this is a great gift for Sonic fans or anyone who enjoys Chia Pets. It’s entertaining, easy to use, and looks awesome when fully grown. I’d definitely recommend it!
