Bamboo Blinds for Interior Windows, Custom Bamboo Shades

Surprised at the good quality and appearance of these shades given the reasonable cost. Easy installation. Effectively reduce the heat & light in the room without making the room entirely dark. Highly recommend.

UPDATE 2.0 Well I am happy to report that a replacement blind has finally arrived, so the seller is a man of his word, it just took a very long time. So I am uping the stars from 1 to 4. Only 4 as it just took over a month for the original order to be delivered and then over a month for the replacement blind. UPDATE: They never sent the replacement blind. So I have to live with a broken blind. I initially thought I had only received one of two blinds as they were wrapped in some sort of burlap material then completely wrapped in tape. So, I have changed my review from one to three stars. Three stars as it took over a month to arrive and one of the two blinds has a crack in the top rail. Not wanting to return them and wait another 35 days I opted to fill the crack with glue and clamped it. seems to have corrected the problem. As for the blinds themselves, they a simplistic in design and function. The cords are very, very long, which once installed you can shorten them to your specific needs as I did. They look great but don't provide as much privacy as I would have liked. Also, these are off the shelf blinds, not custom, so it is likely you'll get blinds too long for your window as I did. Not a problem, but would have preferred they offer a shorter blind, but for the price it is something you have to live with. No instructions provided on how the shorten them yourself. If they didn't take so long to get, I'd attempt it myself but have decided to live with the extra six inches. I had planned on ordering additional for another room as I do like the look, undecided if I want to wait another month to get them. So, all in all for the price I would say they are worth it. A final note, these blinds look good, easy to install and are a good price. What these blinds don't do is provide any form of privacy. At night if you close the blinds but have the lights or TV on anyone can look in your window. Keep that in mind when choosing these blinds. Also, a follow up the seller has reached out to me regarding the damaged blind and are going to send a replacement, once that is complete, I will update to 5 stars.

When our blinds arrived, we were very pleased. They looked very pretty on our deck. We were under the impression that they were interior and exterior safe. However, after about one month, we noticed mold developing about 4 to 6 inches down from the top on all four of our blinds. Any suggestions?

I had originally ordered the lighter color and loved everything about it. The bamboos were thick and sturdy. Unfortunately it was too short (my fault). I exchanged it for a longer one and decided to go with the darker color bcuz esthetically the darker color was a better choice. Sadly, it wasn't as good a quality as the lighter colored one. In both shades that I got, they each had a broken bamboo. I did not exchange it because I haven't had the time and it takes too long for it to come in, so I decided to just keep it. But I was disappointed the second time around.

I was very pleased with this blind for my door window. It fits nicely and looks nice. It keeps the sun out and makes me feel more secure that you can't look through the open glass of my mudroom.
