Pretty simple yet snug and effective HDMI male connector cover. They come in handy.

Great at preventing cable damage
I have a little tech troubleshooting bag containing things like a multimeter, USB charger, ethernet cables, ethernet keystones and termination supplies, etc.I also keep an HDMI cable in my bag just in case I need to troubleshoot any video issues. But, with all that gear jostling around in the bag the pins could get damaged.These RiteAV Dust caps for HDMI connectors solve that problem. Please note: these are for the "male" (i.e. "cable") connectors - these will NOT protect ports on, say, your gaming system.These fit my HDMI cables well and are soft and moderately flexible--easy to put on, but they won't come off easily.These are without a doubt a niche item--but if it's in your niche, I wholeheartedly recommend it!

Works Great to Protect Your HDMI Cables
It seems I always have an extra HDMI cable around from some previous installation - I just hate to see those "bare" connectors just waiting to gather dust, get damaged, etc. These caps slip right on over the exposed connector and the connection is protected. I was impressed that they fit nice and tight and will not slip off, but were very easy to get on and off.Your HDMI cables are what connects your various components (TV, AV receiver, sound bar, etc) and you are not going to get the full value of your system if you don't have a good connection. Such an easy way to protect an unused cable from becoming dirty or damaged. 5 Stars for an easy way to keep my home system at peak performance.
