Good Replacement Blades, but Make Sure They Fit Your Crimper
I picked up these Klein Tools replacement blades for my pass-thru crimper, and they worked like they should. If your crimper is starting to leave little wire ends behind or not cutting as clean as it used to, replacing the blades can make a noticeable difference. Installation was fairly simple, but you do need to take your time and make sure everything lines up correctly. Once installed, the crimper started trimming the pass-thru connectors much cleaner again. It’s a lot cheaper than replacing the whole tool if the crimper itself is still in good shape. The main thing to check is compatibility. These are made for specific Klein pass-thru crimpers, so I would double-check your model before ordering. They are not universal blades for every crimper out there. Overall, I’d give them 4 stars. They do the job and brought the tool back to working better, but they’re really only useful if you already have the correct Klein crimper and are comfortable swapping the blades yourself.

My old blade was having issues cutting the last wire of CAT6 cable during crimp. This blade replacement fix that issue.

Brought new life into my aging crimper
My klein pass through crimper vdv226-110 started to not trim the wires off the connectors I was crimping. I wasn't sure if this was due to cheap C6 connectors or my crimper... I decided to try to find a replacement blade even tho mine still looked fine and im glad that I did as now works like brand new. I am thankful for the fast shipping, decent price, amd these being available in the first place rather than having to buy a new tool for a simple part going bad.

Dull and broken out the box.
Very poor qc. One blade came gouged or of the box the other was cockeyed. Making trimming the cables impossible. More often then not i found klien told is on par with all the other junk brands. Pretty steep fall from grace. At this point i wouldn't even recommend this brand to anyone.
