Best peaches ever. Excellent And healthy, not to sweet.

I have the pineapple and papaya option. I like canned and jarred fruit. I also like fresh and frozen, but I dont always find what I want in local stores, fresh isnt always available or look good, price can be too much for mediocre looking fresh fruit, or too expensive, etc. I find value in keeping shelf stable on hand. Works in a pinch as a snack, for use over hot oatmeal, in smoothies, or even in baking. If you like it, go for it. Firm and sweet, nice sized chunks. It is what it is. I bought this set because they are pack in 100% fruit juice. The country of origin for this variety is the Philippines. Each listing states the country of origin, so no surprises. Hate seeing something downrated for that because the buyer didnt read the product description. I like the plastic containers over canned because it is easier to use. No need to put in separate container. Though for longer term storage I prefer actual cans. Anway, I would buy this again if the price is right. I have no qualms about quality or quantity. Everything looks good, tastes good.

These peaches taste different enough from canned peaches that at first I wondered if they were "off." Their texture is a little firmer than canned, not as firm as I'd hoped, but what was I expecting--fresh peaches? Product information is that: “this is a shelf-life stable product and does not require refrigeration before opening.” Mine have been here over a week, so it seems to be true, however, the plastic jar is sealed only by a thin film, covered by a loose screw-on lid. That's so little protection from exposure to air that it makes me nervous. I put all but a couple jars in the refrigerator right away. To me, they taste best about half frozen anyway, so I’m planning to freeze all remaining peaches in plastic baggies with enough juice to cover. Warning: do not put an unopened jar directly in the freezer, as the top expands as it freezes. When I took mine out, it looked about to explode. The jars I received on 12/22/22, said "Peaches grown in Greece. Expiration date 6/23/23."

Listen, I’m a big peaches fan. I usually buy peaches in 100% fruit juice in individual containers. I cannot complain about these. They didn’t taste too sweet, and usually the stuff in syrup/cling/ whatever they call in is way too sweet. I’m writing this review probably a year later, but these were very good. I probably ate a jar a week.

These live on our shelve as a staple, during most of the year. They cost less than in the store, (who is normally out of stock), and these Peaches are as fresh, as firm and as tasty as any that our family has ever had! I don't know why there are any nay sayers writing bad reviews about this product? Because, out of all the cases that we have purchased over the last 6 months, I can honestly testify that I have not tasted one bad slice, not one bad Peach in any of the jars we have gone through. I am writing this now because I am purchasing another 3 cases of these Peaches; ( which only last my family of three about 2 months ). We've been enjoying these peaches for several years, but they are now hard to find on store shelves in our area. They are firm and taste like fresh peaches. The syrup is not super sweet but compliments the fruit.
