Bargain good quality ear buds
I've had these for about 4 weeks now. This is my first pair of wireless buds. I was worried they might fall out and get lost. They fit so well I have no worries about losing one. Even a vigorous shake of the head doesn't seem to move them. In spite of that they're very comfortable even after hours of listening. The sound quality is what I like most. So musical and pure sounding. To me they sound much better than far more expensive headphones I've had over the years. The noise reduction doesn't seem to make much difference on or off, but the sound isolation is so good it doesn't matter. The battery seems to last ages and they get a top up when stored in the case. The only very slight negative is the control buttons on them. I press them every time I adjust one or even touch the side if my face, either pausing the music or putting them into ambient mode by mistake. Another press and is all sorted but not ideal. In terms of pairing and controlling, the app is good and they pair easily. The price is good at the moment because there is a newer version but I would say get them while they're cheap and still available.

Great little headphones
I've had these about 6 months now and they are great value for money. They are also the most comfortable earbuds I've had and I can wear them comfortably for well over an hour. Sound quality is good for the money, but I really use them to listen to audiobooks so can't comment much on music quality. Noise cancelling works nicely, but on a busy road you still get a small amount of background noise but it's heavily reduced. Battery life is good and lasts several hours. You'll get 2 full charges out of the case and they recharge fairly fast. Just don't expect wireless charging. The only downside is not having an easy way to adjust volume from the buds. You can setup an earbud to control volume but as they aren't touch sensitive (have to actually press them) it's difficult to use. I prefer to keep other functions like noise cancelling and start/stop/skip. Highly recommend and id buy these over most earbuds even those that are more expensive.

4* Quality 1* Noise Cancelling
These Sony headphones have a high build quality and reliably connect. Very comfortable to wear. Small case with long lasting battery charge. Sound is good, but will not blow you away. Ideal headphones provided you're not buying them for noise cancelling. Noise cancelling is non-existent on my Sony ones, outside of the noise blocked out by the fit of the headphones. Tried different headphone tips included, but did not help. No difference noticeable when switching between the noise cancelling options on the app. Have recently bought a pair of the new Bose quiet comfort earbuds released Sep 2024. These are much dearer than the Sony ,but actually have effective noise cancelling from cars when walking or whilst commuting on train. Sound of the Bose is not that different from the Sony and the Bose have a bigger case and headphones, however they do deliver on their noise cancelling which is what I was really looking for.

Fantastic noise cancelling
Superb noise cancelling, very comfortable fit. sound quality excellent. These are as good as many ear buds costing twice as much. Battery life lasts me a full 7hrs+ with nc on.

Very disappointing on multiple fronts
I don't know where to start with these, the reviews on here are not reflective of the actual product quality. I have used headphones for multiple hours a day for at least the last 25 years, possibly more - and these do not cut it. My goto are Sennheiser for war buds, also a fan of Beats and Bose. I bought these following a mess up with an order when I had to return a set through Amazon, and thought I would try them as a punt. Waste of time, and returned them the day after they arrived. The sound quality is poor and nowhere near the standard of Sennheiser - cheaper Senn's are superior to these 700's. Noise cancellation is also poor, I could hear wind and background noise over my music. The buds have a hidden volume limit, so when your phone or device is turned up past a certain point, despite the volume dial moving, the earbuds do not go louder as requested. They therefore do not have any form of loudness. Bass was poor and inaudible on my EDM listening when using them, no depth, no resonance, tinny and disappointing. The controls are all guesswork as there are no instructions anywhere to tell you what the button functions are. I kept cancelling my music by accident, frustrating and annoying. The setup process is a huge faff, having to download multiple things, scan QR codes, open the Sony App and go through a prolonged and unnecessary palava where it wants you to register and fill out all manner of information. Take a picture of your ear canal? I don't think so. These were by far the longest time to get them paired and working and when I did, the outcome was nothing less than disappointing. I am glad I confirmed my suspicions that there are not worth it, and to carry on avoiding Sony for ear buds. I am sure these are great for those who don't take sound seriously and just want a convenient set of buds for leisure use. but if you are serious about sound these fall way below standards.

Good overall
Bought a 'like new' set of WFC700N. Comfortable, sound good enough, physical button controls are reliable, battery life is reasonable and the case is very pocketable. Haven't used them for calls yet though. Overall happy with them.

Value for money, very good sound , but tips aren't good enough quality
So, I bought these for working out and they do a good job. Love the sound quality, it really feels like Sony didn't save money on the technology. Base is very good, clear and rounded notes. I have full fat MX4 over ear Sony headphones and tbh was not expecting the level of quality at the price point. Sure, my MX4 are much richer and show their quality but I wouldn't gym with them. So the amount of compromise on quality is acceptable. It beats the Sienhiessers at the price point above and the Beats products. They hang in your ears, are comfortable and light. So you aren't feeling the drag of the pricier and heavier buds However the issue I have is with the tips. They're unacceptable cheap. They get warm too quickly and will start to loosen the seal for a solid fit. Considering you can buy memory foam tips for less that 10GBP in place how hard would it have bean for Sony to give us proper memory foam tips? Also they are too easy to slip off the ear buds so you can be left with a tip in your ear which you then have to tease out if your ear later. I am keeping them because for travel , work, Walking around, taking a video call , are all things these buds crush at doing. But I am probably going to have to find some compatible foam tips to replace the flimsy ones that come with it.

Excellent in-ears which live up to their reputation
First of all, I am used to listening to music on a pair of B&W PX7s which cost about £300 when new. I paid £70 for these Sony WF C700N headphones on Amazon as I wanted a pair of in-ears I could fall asleep listening to at night. I amazed at their sound quality for the money. It is detailed and spacious. The bass is rich but not overblown (unless that’s what you want) and can be adjusted to taste to suit all types of music. The higher frequencies are sweet and detailed, not shrill and harsh. These in ears sound equally good listening to modern jazz, rock, metal and orchestral film music (yes I listen to all of these regularly). The app works well and contains useful features. I find the noise suppression is very effective (provided the correct size of ear buds are used - Sony provide three sizes). I like being able to tune them to keep dialogue but remove other background noise. These in-ears are light and comfortable so I hardly notice wearing them and they don’t fall out. Battery life appears to be perfectly adequate in the one week I’ve owned them. How could they be improved? Wireless charging would be nice but probably not realistic at their regular selling price, without a trade off somewhere else. How do they compare to my B&Ws which I really like? The Sony’s sound more balanced across the frequency spectrum which is definitely not a bad thing - more a matter of taste. Because they are small and light I find myself listening to them more often. The B&Ws can only be listened to seated. If I had a choice of which to buy new today I would opt for the Sonys, no question about it. Fantastic sound/value! I would like to compare the 700Ns with Sony’s WF-1000XM5 to see if they are really that much better. I doubt they can beat the 700Ns for VFM.

Poor fitting and not noise cancelling
The noise cancelling function on these headphones is not very good. Also a very bad fit-they keep falling out of my ears.
