I work in a hospital and easily walk 20,000+ steps a day. I’ve bought and tried so many different shoes, including the super expensive Hokas (I have 3 pairs of those) and these are easily my favorite. Day 1 I knew I liked them, a lot, but I wanted to wait a bit to be sure. A week (100,000+ steps) later I’m still in love with them. I just ordered another pair. I don’t know what the sole material is, but it’s great. I was expecting it to be more like their Memory Foam line up (which I also like), but it’s not, it’s better IMO.I should add that I have wide feet and these are absolutely perfect (X-wide). Wide Hokas weren’t wide enough, they hurt the corners of my feet, toe box was too small, even their wide line up. Sketchers X-wide line up feels like they were made for me. Absolutely perfect shoe. If you have wide feet and walk a lot, I highly recommend. No more tailor bunion pain.

I walk at least 5 miles a day, 5 days a week for exercise. At 68 years old I find my body is more susceptible to aches and pains and especially in my feet. I've been using Skechers for last couple of years walking, and when this model came out I thought I'd give it a try. The price was only $46 and this shoe is light as a feather. The drawback to this model of Skechers and some of the other walkers I used is that they will wear out fast if you walk everyday for distances in them, (I walk on a boardwalk along the ocean front and not asphalt) so you can expect concrete and asphalt to wear them out sooner. It's why I gave them 4 stars. I know this and accept that I'm not going to be wearing these 6 months from now. BUT, they are so darn comfortable I don't mind having to replace them sooner that some other brand shoes. I like the mesh tops shown in the picture above, helps keep the feet cool.

It’s not exactly memory foam but more like a dense but very shock absorbing material and reminds of certain type of gym mats.THE BADThe sizing doesn’t quite fit me. My typical size was too small, the half size was just a tad short, but the next full size was slightly too large. I returned the half size and kept the next full size even though they are a little large because I like the cushioning.OTHER OBSERVATIONSThe insole does not appear to be removeable.

My husband wears a size 12 or 13 narrow. Finding comfortable shoes that don't cost $200 has been impossible. What took me so long to realize Skechers came in narrow fit and half sizes! They fit him perfectly, the narrow width is just right and the arch support is comfortable. I ordered two more pairs in different color and style.

My husband said the inside of the footbed was very comfortable. Color was very nice too. The width was right. Has a wide foot. Most men’s athletic sneakers come in regular width but these sketchers came in wide. Sizing on line said X wide. We took a chance and ordered them. They fit like a man’s wide width sneaker.

It not like me to review something so soon as this but I couldn't hold it because I'm utterly blown away by these shoes!! I've tried them all, Nike, Under Armour, Brooks and Asics and NONE is as comfortable as these. I am a fitness WALKER, not runner, so I can't speak to them as running shoes but for those like me who walk, they are a game changer. I have increased my average distances and decreased my mile split times by a significant amount because these are so comfortable, lightweight and responsive. I HIGHLY recommend these for the beginner and experienced alike. I would never have thought Sketches would be my hands down favorite so please do not let this brand get skipped over for the "big" name brands. Fitness is nothing to be vain about by sporting brands that are more hype than performance. If you aren't comfortable in the shoes you workout in, it becomes a chore, not a pleasure. Simple. Try these. You won't regret it. I don't.

I bought these for my part-time job where I walk six hours per shift on cement floors.The shoes are extremely light and the padding keeps my knees from hurting on the hard floors. I also use these for my daily walks with our three dogs, which is typically 2 to 3 miles per day. Somedays I walk well over 10 miles in these shoes from my part-time job. They are great.

I purchased the product based on my health needs where conventional shoes did not fit comfortably or sizes that were not ideal for me. Suffering from swollen feet due to cellulitis and lymphoedema makes selecting shoes a hard thing as the feet swell up during the day and ease at night. These shoes are very soft and not hard against the skin and with a spongy cushion they feel very easy to walk with. These are new shoes and very often new shoes will chaff and rub until they fit, with theses the material is flexible and they did not have any rubbing points to cause skin damage.

Bought these at the beginning of March 2019, and have just retired them at the beginning of December.Have walked over 500 miles and the soles, although worn, still have a bit of life left in them, and am only retiring them as they are not the most weather proof of shoe, so something more sturdy needed for Autumn/Winter.These are so light and comfortable, with or without socks, I have never had an uncomfortable walk.And although the upper is just material, they have been incredibly sturdy and hard wearing, ( i personally thought this would have torn but held up very well).So I shall be buying (hopfefully) again next march for another 500 mile haul.Highly recommended ..

Wanted some comfy shoes for work, but didn’t want to spend a fortune. These have exceeded all my expectations, not only are they extremely comfortable and light, they are also lasting really well under daily use.Initially I thought they felt too light and would get damaged quickly, but they’ve resisted a number of knocks and bumps. The sole feels extremely soft, making walking a pleasure, but I was convinced that being so soft it would wear out quickly... except that it hasn’t.The mesh lets in air and keeps your feet cool. It will also let in water easily though, but that shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone... it’s mesh! It’s fine walking in the rain for short periods, just be sure to not step in any puddles!Overall, extremely comfortable for the price and so far lasting better than expected.

Just as I expected from Skechers,perfect fit ,light weight and very cool on the feet.as they let air into the shoe through the mesh upper,but they may also let water in as well ? They are the most comfortable footwear I have ever owned.(and I’ve had quite a few Skechers)They look good too, I know style is a subjective, personal thing but I think they look really cool. I would highly recommend

I've got plantar fasciitis and two pairs of Skechers, the 54601 'Go Walk' and a pair of 52185 'Lite- Weight'. They are both very comfortable and I use the 'Go Walk' for just that. Very easy on my left foot. They have a different sole pattern from the 'Lite-Weight' and dont trap bits of gravel in tread. Very pleased with both pairs

Its hard not to like Skechers - ultra lightweight, comfortable, fit true to size, not too narrow, look good, and seem well built, and a decent price - and these shoes meet all those criteria. A bonus for me is the insoles aren't their now preferred Memory Foam ones, which I detest. However, the one downside and its a reasonably large one is the website images appear to show a light grey shoe, and the shoes in person are a medium to dark grey. And before you say, "ah, its your phone/monitor" or whatever, I'm using a high quality monitor calibrated for photography!I had wanted a light grey, and while I am happy with the shoes supplied and am keeping them, I have to knock a star off my rating for the disparity in colour.
