This is the best product for maintaining natural hair that is usually hard to manage… That being said, after 2 brain surgeries, I stopped using relaxers. My hair grew to be 23 inches. Needless to say, once I realized how hard it is to manage natural hair and that as long as you plait it up, it will grow like weeds, I’ll admit it made me lazy. However it was heck to pay on washday. I had plenty dirt and good but if dandruff after going nearly a month without washing it, so combing it out was impossible. Then I found this stuff. I was skeptical at first but I’m also impatient. The key is to: 1. Apply it on your edges and the nape of your neck FIRST 2. Section your hair into 4-or my case, 8. 3. Apply a dollop to each section, starting at the root 4. Move on to the next section and repeat until done. 5. Spritz a little water and start detangling from the ends to the root, and watch how the comb or brush glides through your hair with no breakage. 6. Enjoy a stress-free wash! My 6 year old has type 4c hair and has sensory challenges with allowing other people to even touch her hair and she cannot keep a bonnet on her hair at night to save her life.
